I was watching some old footage of legendary teams from a decade ago, and it really hit me how often a roster that looks absolutely unstoppable on paper ends up being a complete disaster by mid-season. It’s almost like there's a specific kind of hubris that settles into a locker room once you've hit a certain level of success.
You see these squads coming out of the off-season looking like juggernauts, but then you start noticing the cracks. It's rarely just about one player's injury; it's more about the underlying stuff—depth issues that no one talks about, or a coaching staff that's become a little too comfortable with the status quo. Once that complacency sets in, the whole foundation starts to wobble.
I honestly think we overvalue "star power" and undervalue the boring stuff like roster stability and incremental improvements. Do you guys think it's actually possible to build a team that's truly "flawless," or is there always some hidden vulnerability waiting to blow up a season?
Hey, has anyone else dealt with stomach pains as a side effect? Mine feels like I’m about to start my period, and I’m only on the 14th pill of the first pack.
What is this? Seriously? Just look at this mess. Absolute chaos. Unbelievable... kaže:
You aren't getting fat from the tablet, you're getting fat from the cravings it triggers. It’s on you how you manage that appetite...
You can always find something healthy to snack on. For me, that constant hunger lasted for the first six months while I was on the pills, but then it finally passed...
If you don't cut yourself some slack and stop craving those cookies, you aren't just gonna gain weight from the pills alone... 🙂
I'm not really sure what to say about Mom and Grandma. Did you actually mention this to your OB-GYN? Honestly, I have my doubts about whether taking supplements is even a good idea given that medical history... 🤔
Maybe you should try getting another opinion, if you haven't already asked him?
So I told her, and she just said I should track my symptoms—basically, if I feel anything at all, I need to stop immediately. She thinks I’m perfectly healthy since all my lab results came back normal. My blood pressure is always on the low side, which is the complete opposite of my mom, who actually has to take medication just to bring hers down. I stay active, lots of walking and working out... though I know that’s not a guarantee for everything...
I don't smoke, and I haven't started either. I’m on my fourth pill today, and I can already feel these painful cramps hitting me. Plus, my period is lasting way longer than usual...
Hi there!
I asked my OB-GYN about birth control because my periods have been incredibly heavy and painful. After some consultations and tests, she prescribed LYNDYNETTE 20.
Now, I’m getting a bit anxious. I really don't want to gain weight—I’ve spent years shedding pounds and I’ve finally reached a weight I actually feel good in.
The biggest concern, though, is my family history. My mother had a heart attack at 46, and my grandmother suffered several strokes starting from age 35 and onwards.
Does anyone have any advice? Should I take it or skip it?
I was on Yaz for a year; the only issue I had was with digestion, but after a year, I started experiencing panic attacks and things like that. That was about five years ago, though.
I just had an abdominal ultrasound where they told me my kidneys are packed with sand and there's some mild dilation happening in my right kidney. Since my doctor is out on vacation for another two weeks, can anyone tell me if I actually have something to worry about?
Michelle Perez40 said:Well, now, it’s probably possible. Look, I’m no doctor, but based on what I know about this stuff, it’s plausible that smaller amounts caused some irritation. But honestly, drinking a ton of fluids for a few weeks won't hurt, and once you finish your antibiotics, you can stick to cranberry juice and Vitamin C to help cleanse your system.

My bad, I totally thought you were a doctor—you sounded like one. 🙂
Anyway, thanks so much.🎉 🎉 🎉
Michelle Perez40 said:Kidney sand usually shows up on an ultrasound, though there is a chance it might go undetected. Think of kidney sand as the precursor to actual stones. That grit can definitely trigger an infection. You don't necessarily need specific medication for it—you just have to stay hydrated. Seriously, drink plenty of fluids. Four liters a day is totally fine.

Thanks so much for the info!
Just one more thing. I started having pain about a week before my ultrasound. Is it possible that some sand was passing through and irritating my urinary tract, causing the inflammation?
Michelle Perez40 said:Look, you have high white blood cell counts in your urine, which usually means there's some inflammation going on. They sent you for a culture to identify the specific bacteria involved. It probably isn't anything to lose sleep over, and once you get started on antibiotics, you should feel better pretty quickly.
So the urine culture came back sterile and the ultrasound looks fine. The only issue is those white blood cells in my urine. I've been taking some baby ibuprofen and some antispasmodics. I feel slightly better, but now it feels like my kidneys and bladder are aching too. My doctor has no clue what's actually happening—she's rambling about kidney stones and how they might be causing an infection as they pass. Honestly, I'm just confused at this point...
steeleagle152 said:Sounds like kidney stones... I had pain like that once and it was unbearable, seriously worse than labor pains... just awful. Honestly, I wouldn't call them sharp pains, more like this intense ache that felt like it was tearing my back and spine apart...

How did you guys deal with it?
steeleagle152 said:I'm not a doctor or anything, but I dealt with similar issues when I had kidney stones. I don't know exactly what you're feeling, but for me, it was easily the most intense pain I've ever experienced.

It’s disgusting pain. I’m breaking out in sweats, feels like a hundred knives are slicing me up from the inside. Taking some Advil helps a bit.
Michelle Perez40 said:Look, you have high white blood cell counts in your urine, which usually points to an infection. They sent you for a culture to figure out exactly which bacteria we're dealing with. It’s likely nothing to worry about, and once you get the right antibiotics, you should start feeling better pretty quickly.
Thanks so much! Just waiting on those culture results now—should be back this Friday.
For the past week, I've been dealing with intense pain in my right kidney and urinary tract area. I saw my doctor, who sent me for urgent blood and urine tests. My bloodwork came back normal, but my urine results showed this:
Leukocytes 1-2, erythrocytes 1-2, quite a bit of squamous epithelial cells, and some bacteria. Normal range for leukocytes and erythrocytes is 0-2.
The pain just kept getting worse, so I went to the ER yesterday. Blood was fine again, but the urine showed:
Erythrocytes 2-3, leukocytes 5-10, plenty of epithelium, and some bacteria. They gave me Spasmex via IV and sent me for a urine culture. Throughout the day, I noticed some kind of tiny particles after peeing. Can anyone give me an idea of what this might be? I'm honestly terrified that it's something serious. No fever or nausea so far.
So, I just got a Gmail alert about a login attempt from some fake address in Atlanta. How is that even possible? I don't know anyone there, and I've never even set foot in that city.
Is there any chance this is just some glitch?
