Many thanks for the response; she claims the image itself is perfectly fine, though if you ask me, I find that hard to believe... Thank you once again (:
Greetings, I am seeking some clarity on whether a CRP level of 7.4 should be considered elevated... My physician maintains that this value is perfectly acceptable, but I find myself questioning the implications...
Hormonal Contraception: The Pill [General Discussion] in Women's Health ·
It all started creeping up on me about a year ago, even though I’ve been at this for five years now... and unfortunately, the cellulite just seems to be getting worse by the day.
Perhaps you ought to consider getting an antibody test done, just so you can determine whether you previously contracted COVID-19, which might have been the underlying trigger for that rash in the first place...

I’ve been sipping on this Yaz drink, and honestly, it feels like my body is just holding onto every single drop of fluid imaginable... I can't help but feel like I'm constantly retaining water after consuming it. Does anyone have any actual advice on how to flush this excess out of my system?
Greetings, I was wondering if all family practitioners are currently drowning in work to the point where they simply can't answer the phone? I am stuck in self-isolation, and I have attempted to call my doctor's office over 150 times, yet the nurse either fails to pick up or the line remains constantly busy...
Maria Fisher46 said:Dear Madam,

To properly interpret these lab results, one would ideally need to know which specific measurement units were used for the insulin levels. However, even without that clarification, it appears to me that the insulin values are elevated, particularly at the 120-minute mark.

Strictly speaking, based on these test results, there is no evidence of insulin resistance at the exact moment the testing was performed, given that an insulin resistance index of 1.0 is considered optimal, suggesting healthy insulin sensitivity. What does seem somewhat inconsistent, however, are the relatively high insulin readings coupled with the relatively low activity of the pancreatic beta cells responsible for producing that insulin...

Depending entirely on the clinical reason why this testing was ordered in the first place, it might be worth considering a follow-up test after some time has passed.

Thank you very much🙂
Linda Gray said:I would appreciate some insight regarding my OGTT results. My fasting insulin was 42.6, and at the 120-minute mark, it climbed to 260.3. Beta cell function is sitting at 67.2%, peripheral insulin sensitivity is 104%, and my insulin resistance index is 1.0.
My fasting glucose was 5.8 mmol/L, which rose to 7.0 mmol/L after 120 minutes. Thank you in advance!

I am repeating this inquiry, provided anyone actually possesses the knowledge to answer...🤔
I would appreciate some insight regarding my OGTT results. My fasting insulin came in at 42.6, but after the 120-minute mark, it spiked to 260.3. My HOMA-B activity is sitting at 67.2%, peripheral insulin sensitivity is 104%, and my insulin resistance index is 1.0.
My fasting glucose was 5.8 mmol/L, which then moved to 7.0 mmol/L after 120 minutes. Thank you all in advance!
Hello, I’ve noticed my urea levels are elevated; the reading came back at 385, whereas the standard reference range goes up to 337. Does this present a significant concern...
