I have mixed feelings about this. I’ve been diagnosed with myositis causing thickening of the eye muscles. At first, things were much worse, but now it’s just like what you're describing—everything goes double when I look toward the right corner, especially right when I wake up in the morning. How long has this been going on for you? Did you deal with any eye issues before this started?
Hey ladies, I’m one of those people dealing with painful periods too. Honestly, I’ve tried everything under the sun. Over-the-counter pills are my go-to, and Voltaren Rapid usually does the trick, but I’ve built up a tolerance, so now I have to pair it with two Advil just to get through. I’ve tried herbal teas, heating pads, even old-school home remedies, but they barely touch the pain until the meds actually kick in. Eventually, I switched to hormonal birth control and it was like heaven on earth, but I had to stop taking them. Now I’m back to just suffering in silence and popping pills. The only time in my life when the pain actually eased up—or disappeared entirely—was when I was dancing regularly. Seriously, if you aren't staying active, try finding some kind of recreation; once I stopped moving, the pain came right back. And the most ridiculous thing I ever hear is... "It won't hurt once you have kids." Well, I guess I should have given birth at twelve then.😲
Hi everyone.
I'm wondering if anyone else is dealing with similar issues. For about a month now, I've been seeing double whenever I look with both eyes, and we still don't have a clear answer why. It's like looking through two different lenses at once. I was hospitalized and spent three days on IV corticosteroids, and while I'm currently taking Medrol, I haven't felt any improvement. All my test results have come back normal so far, which is frustrating because this makes it impossible to function normally. John Doe🤷
