Dealing with bad cramps? in Women's Health ·
granitewolf50 said:I’m dealing with the same nightmare. Honestly, I start dreading my period before it even arrives because the pain is so predictable. I tried Caffetin Menstrual—took two at a time—and it did absolutely nothing. Now I’ve just taken Voltaren Rapid, but I have zero faith in that either. Has anyone actually used Ketoral? Is it worth the hype? The first three days are always brutal, and I need a real solution. I have to head to campus now, and since I have such a long commute, staying home for three days every month isn't a realistic option.

Oh, absolutely!!! If I didn't have it, I honestly don't know how I'd make it through those days.😲 But yeah, definitely go for the Forte version!😁

And I can't even take anything strong to help because if I go harder than a basic Tylenol, my stomach starts acting up—and honestly, that’s ten times worse than the actual cramps.

Wait, does it hurt the entire time you're on your period? 😲 Have you actually gone to see an OB-GYN about it?

Yeah... from day one! As soon as it hits, the pain starts killing me... and for about four days, it's completely unbearable 😲 and then it finally lets up somewhere around the last day.😲
I haven't seen a doctor for it yet. I didn't realize I should. I mean, I just assumed these pains were normal since they come with my period. But lately, it's just become impossible to handle.😢 😢

Up until about five months ago, the cramps before my period weren't exactly a nightmare. It was just a signal that it was coming—nothing you couldn't just push through. But lately, they've become so intense that I find myself waking up in the middle of the night, literally in tears because the pain is just unbearable.

I honestly don't understand why this is happening all of a sudden??!! Right now, I'm basically leaning on a rotation of Advil and Tylenol just to get some relief, but even then, it only works for a little while... after three or four hours, the pain comes rushing back.
It goes on like this for five or six days straight. I know taking this much medication is terrible for my stomach, but I'm at my wit's end and I simply don't know what else to do.
My next one should arrive in about five days, and frankly, I'm terrified! 😢

I'm curious, does anyone have any insight into why these pains would suddenly escalate like this??? Because this isn't even human anymore. 😢
