Dealing with bad cramps? in Women's Health ·
You should give Femisan A drops a shot. I started taking them because they're great for ovarian cysts, and then my period came and I barely even felt it. No PMS, no cramps. I had a little ache on the first morning, but once I took my morning dose, my muscles just relaxed. I actually went out for a walk and everything, whereas normally I’m stuck in bed with painkillers on day one. Right now, you can only find them in major cities (I know they're available in places like NYC or Chicago), and they cost about 90-$33 depending on where you go. If you're only using them for pain, it's enough to start a few days before your cycle starts and keep going until it's over. Personally, I take them every single day, 3-4 times a day, 30 drops per dose. One bottle lasts me about three weeks. You have to be consistent with it, sure, but for now, at least my period isn't painful, and we'll see how things go with the cysts. In Mexico, these drops are literally half the price, so if you know anyone over there, it's better to have them sent to you rather than paying all the taxes here.

Go see a gynecologist, obviously! At the very least, have them run an ultrasound—it’s a standard procedure just to rule out things like cysts or whatever else might be going on. If there is an issue, the sooner you start addressing it, the faster you'll get through it and get your cycle back to normal.

Megan Richardson16 said:I have terrible pain during my period. It hits my back, stomach, legs... basically, I'm a mess for three days. I've tried every pill imaginable, but rarely does anything actually work. I even went for checkups, and everything looks fine; they just prescribe standard stuff like Neofen and similar. Does anyone else deal with this, and what kind of meds do you use?

Hi 🙂

A bit late to the party here, but I just recently joined the forum. Personally, Femisan A drops helped me immensely, and I’d recommend them to any girl dealing with painful periods. They are produced somewhere out East (USA/Mexico), but they've become available locally lately. For instance, you can just take them for 3-5 days before your period starts and then continue through the cycle. I took them all month because I also deal with heavy flow, and since these help with that, I didn't want to stop early.

Basically, I didn't even feel the PMS (usually my lower back and stomach ache and I just feel totally drained). When my period arrived, I had some slight pain in the morning, but as soon as I took the drops, my muscles relaxed immediately. I took 30 drops, four times a day during my period, and didn't need any pills at all. In fact, on the very first day, I actually went for a walk by the beach, which was a total 3.1 miles. No issues whatsoever. On the first day (!!!!). Usually, I can only lie in bed curled up with Advil or those strong Advil powder packets. The only downside to these drops is that they cost about $90-$33 here and aren't available in every city (one bottle lasts about three weeks to a month if you're consistent), whereas in the USA, you can get them for about $13-14, which is nearly half the price. So there you go—no chemicals, yet they still work.

The main ingredients are mugwort, yarrow, calendula, savory, knotgrass, and parsley. Mugwort is 30%, and the rest are in smaller amounts; maybe you can find tinctures made only from that herb in pharmacies, who knows...
