Dealing with bad cramps?
in Women's Health ·
I’m so glad to hear your pain has finally started to ease up!
I’ve been trying to focus on vitamins and minerals lately, though I actually don't care for dairy at all, so I don't really include any in my diet. Unfortunately, my periods are still pretty rough, and those supplements haven't quite done the trick for me yet. Honestly, I felt like a whole new person once I discovered Nalgesin L tablets; I truly don't know what I'd do without them. I usually take two as soon as the cramps start, and then another one about eight hours later. Even with them, I still feel the discomfort, but it gets me through the workday, and then I just head home, take some Normabel, and try to make it through that first day.
One time when I didn't have my usual meds at home, I tried taking some Ibuprofen instead, but instead of helping, the pain just spiraled out of control until I ended up vomiting, passing out, and needing a trip to the ER. It seems like nothing else works well for me—Ketoral doesn't touch the pain, Voltaren pills are barely effective, and taking Brufen feels like I haven't taken anything at all.
