Ugh, I hate it... For a while, mine would pop up constantly; whenever my period was coming, changes in the weather, or if I went out partying a bit too much... None of those ointments you guys mentioned really work for me anymore. They helped at first, I guess, but now it feels like my body just got used to them and they don't do anything. But one time, when I had an outbreak, this lady suggested I try lavender or lemon balm essential oils, and they've been amazing for me. If I feel one coming on, I just dab some lavender on it and it doesn't even show up. And if it does break out overnight (which unfortunately happens to me), by the next day the blisters are gone and it starts drying up. Anyway, my advice is to give it a shot—I'm really curious to see if it works for anyone else like it did for me...
From what I understand—and this is just what my doctor told me—oral herpes and the genital kind aren't actually related... like, they don't spread between the two. But honestly, I don't really buy it, and I definitely wouldn't want to risk testing that theory myself.

It's the same thing... once you catch it, you've basically got it for life. But I guess it's just that it isn't always active.
I don't know... honestly, since that area is so sensitive, I guess I’d just go see a doctor if I were you. Maybe it isn't even herpes.
And maybe she's just being a bit of a Sarah about it, too.
I guess genital herpes and the kind that shows up on your mouth or nose aren't actually the same thing. So, maybe you can't really pass it from your mouth down there, right?🙂))
