L-carnitine is an amino acid that speeds up fat burning while you're working out. I’d definitely recommend it, provided you’re actually hitting the cardio and watching your calories. It isn't harmful.
Try separating your carbs from your proteins. Steak with a side salad—no starch—for dinner. Then hit the potatoes, rice, or pasta with a salad for lunch.
And for heaven's sake, watch the sugar during the holiday season. 🙂
good luck !

I have a feeling the worst is still ahead of us...
Kevin White5, you aren't the only one feeling this way. I drop my kid off at daycare, and it's just one teacher and two kids left. Everyone else is stuck at home with a fever. Then I roll into work, and a third of my colleagues are complaining about the exact same symptoms.
From what I can tell, it’s all viruses and strep throat. Unbelievable...
Hopefully, this blows over quickly. Can you imagine when the actual flu season hits?
Solo cardio—running, power walking, swimming—it all does wonders for your health. But let’s be real: you actually have to stick to it. Pick something that fits your body and your temperament, otherwise, what's the point? Why bother if you're just going to quit in a week? It also helps if it doesn't require a massive gym membership or gear that costs more than a car payment. Just pick something accessible. Make it a habit, make it part of your life. It's good for your physique, sure, but the actual health benefits are what matter. 👍
