It feels like every time we think we've found a shortcut to a massive scientific breakthrough, nature just finds a way to throw a wrench in the gears. The universe is clearly much more stubborn about keeping its secrets than we give it credit for. Does anyone else feel like we're constantly overestimating how easy it'll be to actually reach what we're looking for out there?

I'm new here—just trying to find my footing—and I was wondering how I might go about uploading photos so someone could help identify some artwork. I've inherited a few pieces recently—nothing too flashy, just things left to me—and I'm curious to know who the artists might be and if they hold any real value, though I can't seem to figure out how to get the images posted for you all to see.
