Socrates in Health ·
Since there isn't a dedicated thread for this, I figured I'd start one myself.

A few years back, I started noticing these tiny bumps appearing under my eyes. They’ve grown quite a bit since then, and honestly, I initially assumed they were just sun damage or skin irregularities, but that wasn't the case. It turns out they are benign growths—Socrates—which can be surgically removed, though the catch is that they tend to leave scars behind.

So, I’m curious if anyone here has dealt with this before. Specifically, does anyone know of any methods or treatments that might minimize scarring once they're gone?

Thanks, 😁

Brenda Wright36 said:It’s technically incorrect to say you can't get pregnant during your period—it is possible—but those instances are incredibly rare. Honestly, I highly doubt you're the statistical outlier in this scenario, so there's no need to worry. Furthermore, the uterine environment during menstruation isn't exactly hospitable to sperm, making it unlikely that any could survive the journey, especially considering there was no climax involved.

True, but we're talking about one-in-a-million odds here...
I can only hope I fall into that one-in-a-million category. 😁

Look, the menstrual cycle is essentially divided into fertile and infertile windows. To put it simply: when you're in your fertile window, pregnancy is a possibility; when you aren't, it isn't. Typically, those fertile days hover around the 15th day of the cycle, assuming your period starts on day one. Of course, that calculation only works if your cycle is regular—say, a standard 28-day stretch with a five-day margin of error. Even then, pinpointing the exact moment is notoriously tricky.

If you happen to be dealing with your actual period right now, the chances of conceiving are virtually non-existent. You really ought to do a bit of research on the matter; it's basic biological knowledge you should have at your fingertips...

Honestly, if his diet isn't clean, he’ll hit a wall eventually. Even if he doesn't look overweight, issues like skyrocketing cholesterol or high blood pressure are lurking in the background.

By the way, regarding performance enhancers—nobody is going to give you the straight truth about them because they aren't legal to acquire. You’d have to navigate private channels, like asking someone at your local Gold's Gym, but that's a slippery slope. It is incredibly easy to end up with low-quality junk that could seriously compromise your health. I'd suggest taking the slow, steady route rather than risking it all.

He’s constantly running blood work and checkups, and his stats come back perfect!
But fine, I’m not suggesting everyone should attempt to build a "perfect" physique using those methods.
Not everyone has the luxury of just eating whatever junk food happens to be within arm's reach.

Everyone loves to preach about how nutrition is everything, but if you ask me, you can build a flawless physique without even touching a salad.
Take my boyfriend, for example—the guy eats like there's no tomorrow. He'll scarf down just about anything, mostly junk, and he doesn't care what time of day it is. We often end up overindulging until our stomachs are killing us for hours afterward. Yet, despite that, he hits the gym once or twice every single day. It’s honestly impressive; he looks absolutely shredded.
