Susan Garcia6, I don’t even own a single pair of jeans right now, but based on how much I "know my stuff," we should really be talking in inches—you know, waist and inseam. In theory, those numbers should stay consistent across every brand out there. Personally, whenever I actually bother to shop, I’m always looking for a 28/32. I might grab a 27 if they’ve got enough stretch in them 😬, but that's about it. Otherwise, I’m usually a US size 6...
So, honestly? I think the real headache here is just terrible size conversion.
Also, since you're about 5'10", I'd bet money you actually need a 34" inseam. I’m about 5'8" myself, and a 32" hits me just right.
