I'd suggest re-running the labs in a week or two. If the numbers don't stabilize, you'll likely need to check your liver or screen for hepatitis...
I wasn't drinking or feeling run down when I had the labs done. Either way, I've already got a liver ultrasound scheduled, so I'll find out what's going on soon enough.
Thought I’d add my two cents to the thread...
So, I have a very mild case of gynecomastia—just on one side, barely noticeable. I’m getting checked out proactively just to make sure things aren't escalating.
I just got my blood work back. Everything looks fine except for my GGT and ALT levels; specifically:
GGT is at 68 (normal range is 10-55)
ALT is at 92 (normal range is 5-48)
I know it might be nothing, but seeing that ALT is nearly double the limit is a bit unsettling. I haven't had any liver issues in the past, or at least nothing that felt like it was actually related to my liver.
Any thoughts?
Bringing this thread back to life; does anyone know where in Indianapolis I can go to donate plasma?
