It’s almost comical how people struggle to find sizes 4-6, yet I constantly run into size 8s even in standard retail stores. Personally, I find "fuller" figures harder to shop for in mainstream spots like Macy's or H&M. I managed to find one—and I mean *one*—piece of women's clothing at a place like Old Navy.
Does anyone have any insight regarding size 52+? That is my definition of "curvy," though most people would jump to call it "fat"—a term I’ve already spent far too much time researching to avoid the inevitable social backlash. There really is a distinction, isn't there?
What is the polite way to describe women who wear a US size 20 or above? And more importantly, where can one actually shop? I used to rely on local markets before everything started declining, but now I’m just stuck.
If anyone happens to know... I tried searching this thread, but there are so many posts that after thirty minutes of scrolling, my eyes were starting to ache. :P
A link or some direction would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
I’m reaching my breaking point here. I’m looking to track down an actual handheld Tetris console. It used to be possible to find these things anywhere, but nowadays it’s nothing but Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo, or PC downloads. Where is the old-school gear you could actually carry around—the kind that runs for a century on two AA batteries? I need something to get me through the night shifts and satisfy this growing Tetris mania bubbling inside me.
Has anyone actually seen one of these lately?
Thanks
Well, this is wonderful news. I’ve been dreaming about that rib resection center for a while now, trying to find the courage to seek professional help for this weight issue I've battled since I can remember. I’ve heard that the hospital didn't really get things right with the Weight Watchers program, so what’s happening at Vuk Vrhovac sounds like a much-needed solution. Thanks, Sophia Hughes6. If you're up for it, would you mind sharing what they did for your father and if it actually helped him?
I spent my entire childhood bouncing between hospitals because of this. They kept searching for answers as to why I was the way I was, only to eventually conclude that my body produces an immeasurable amount of insulin—leaving them essentially helpless. Their advice? "Just call us back once you've survived puberty," and if nothing changes by then, we'll figure it out. It's been eight years since my teenage years ended, and I still haven't gone in because, believe it or not, I'm terrified. But perhaps I should just bite the bullet, given how quickly this could turn into something much worse. :-/

God, I’m pretty sure I saw something similar once from those vendors selling jewelry out of little "treasure chests" at outdoor markets. You know, near where the Benetton store usually sits... just before you hit the entrance to Profil....
I’d bet you might find that kind of thing at that spot in the "Pit." You know, over on Broadway, near the plaza. That place that sells all the band tees and stuff. They have a ton of items like that—pendants, rings, and obviously bracelets... It actually has a new name now, but I haven't a clue what it is; I just know it as "the Pit"...
Happy hunting ;-)
Listen, people, I need some assistance, and I am asking you quite nicely 🙂🙂🙂
Does anyone know where I might find a Lord of the Rings puzzle—roughly 1,000 pieces, though the exact count isn't strictly vital—outside of eBay?
Please, if you have any leads... I’ve already checked Target, no luck. I tried Best Buy, nothing. I'm still waiting on a response from Barnes & Noble, and even at Walmart, they only have those cartoon motifs meant for children—which, frankly, isn't really what I'm looking for. Hobby Lobby was a total bust, and I won't even attempt to guess what kind of selection they have at Five Below.
I am officially out of ideas. My brain is fried.
Any help would be appreciated... 🙂🙂
Thanks in advance.
Since there are 51 pages of posts here and I lack the luxury of reading every single one, may I pose a couple of questions? They might have been answered already, but if they haven't, I’d appreciate some insight. If they have, please don't come after me for asking...
I am interested in Tai Chi (I can't even be sure of the spelling anymore given the variations out there), and my questions are as follows:
1. Does this actually qualify as a martial art? Some sites list it under "martial arts," while others seem to imply it's something else entirely—perhaps just a sport or a discipline. Is it truly for combat?
2. Can it be practiced without the supervision of an "expert," a "teacher," or a "master"—whatever you call those who pass down the knowledge? Could one simply read a book, watch a video, and replicate the movements?
To be honest, I visited the Tai Chi thread on this forum, but the users there seemed mostly preoccupied with arguing. Given that this practice is supposed to be about relaxation, one has to wonder how much credibility they actually hold. (That second point is particularly curious to me.)
If my post violates any rules of this thread, please feel free to penalize me; I apologize in advance. I simply wasn't sure where else to turn. If you could direct me to a more appropriate place to find answers, I would be grateful.
Thanks.
