Magnetic Balls in Miscellaneous ·

I tried both the silver and gold sets—honestly, they’re a waste of money $100. Long story short, the gold ones lose their finish after just one day, turning greasy and brown. The silver versions last slightly longer—maybe a week or two if you're actually using them—but then the coating flakes off and leaves your hands looking gross.

Another thing: these magnets have two poles, so handling them isn't nearly as seamless as those flashy promo videos make it look. It's fun for a minute, but the quality is subpar... save your cash and just buy a high-end Rubik's Cube instead.

Taylor Lautner lacks even an ounce of acting talent—it's honestly impressive how bad he is. 🙂

The trailer looks decent enough—definitely gives off some strong Taken vibes—but the lead actor is a complete disaster. He’s going to ruin half the movie, 100%..

WHY did they cast him? Zero charisma, zero acting ability, just a total blank stare... Look, I’m no film critic—I usually can't tell bad acting from good (I actually thought Arnold was fine in Conan)—but this guy is painfully obvious from a mile away. 🤦

It would have been way better if they had gone with Shiu; at least he brings something to the table.
So they won't ship here either??😠
Everyone’s acting like "we don't ship to America"—please...

Anyway, I'll just try some paracord from those "survival" or "tactical" shops online. It's thinner, sure, but apparently, it's incredibly tough.

Why do I need it? Just like to tinker with my gear—constantly experimenting, mostly failing.😁

By the way, wandering through department stores is nice until you feel awkward because you aren't buying anything big. You end up at the register with some tiny little thing after wandering around for an hour just to keep the line moving.$3.25
Something like this, but obviously by the yard... I only need about 15 feet max. Would it actually be worth calling these big-box stores instead of just wandering around aimlessly? I mean, do they actually know what’s sitting in their warehouse, or are they just looking at a website with ghost inventory?

I was hoping someone could tell me for sure where to find this—I'm not a fan of driving around retail stores for nothing. I saw some stuff on a specialty site, but I highly doubt they deal in small quantities like this.

Edit: Nylon is fine too (?)—as long as it's heavy-duty and roughly the same diameter.
Thanks.

Maybe I'm overthinking it—but which department would this fall under? Or should I just ask my aunt? Honestly, I've never actually had to deal with something like this before, so I don't recall seeing it at, say, a CVS.
Where in the States can I pick up some cotton / smooth rope, roughly 6-8mm in diameter?
Lilith, that’s not true—I’ve looked into it myself, and prices here are roughly three times higher than across the ocean. Sure, Texas might be the biggest producer, but the prices we're seeing in the States and around Europe are just absurd.
