Flash is actually just the nickname for coach Mark Zaje.

Hmm... you're saying it's all the exact same club? 🙄 I assume just because they're registered under the Muay Thai banner doesn't mean that's all they actually teach at the gym.

I was browsing online and stumbled upon some PDF file from the American Muay Thai Federation that mentions a club called "Flash" over in Split... I'm trying to dig up more info because I’ve been looking into getting into Muay Thai, but honestly, most people I talk to seem to conflate the two with kickboxing, which is frustrating enough already. 😕 Basically, I want to know if this "Flash" place is actually legit for training real MT, or if they’re just selling smoke and mirrors? Thanks.
And I'm not sure if it's appropriate to bring this up, but there's also some mention of a coach named Marko Zaja.

Spoken like a wise man...😁 I’d certainly prefer to see them operating around these parts too, but I suppose we won't be seeing that anytime soon...👎

I'm really interested.

I'll definitely give you a heads-up! 👍 though, from what I can tell so far, if there actually are any ninjas out there in Split, they’re doing a damn good job of staying hidden.

Look, I’m a total amateur when it comes to martial arts—honestly, Wikipedia and Google are my only sources of information at this point. But even Google won't give me the straight truth about what the actual scene looks like in a city like Chicago, so I figured I’d turn to you all instead. Among all these self-proclaimed "masters" out there, who are the genuine experts? Who actually knows their stuff and teaches with integrity? If you had to give an honest recommendation, who should I look into? I realize the options aren't endless and most things eventually boil down to just a few specific disciplines. If I had my pick, I’d love to dive into Muay Thai or maybe Ninjutsu. But since I don't have that luxury, I’d settle for anything as long as I'm learning from someone who truly knows what they’re doing. Does anyone like that even exist?
