Thanks for all the input, everyone... The decision is made... I'm heading to the Muay Thai gym.😍
I honestly just love hitting people with my head.😁

Can someone please explain to me the actual difference between Tai Chi and kickboxing?? I was browsing some stuff online and stumbled upon a women's group over at a local YMCA...

I’ve been training TKD and I actually really like it, but honestly? It’s just not aggressive enough for my taste. I’ve always leaned toward more high-impact stuff—you know, sports where you’re actually throwing hands at someone's face and all that. My ex was my coach for both Tai Chi and kickboxing, so I’ve sat through plenty of sessions (mostly just watching), but based on what I saw down there, it looks pretty solid... My only real worry is losing the little bit of muscle I actually managed to build. I’m 180 cm and only about 128 pounds, so let's just say I could definitely afford to put on some weight. 🙂

Hey there! I could use a little advice... I did Tae Kwon Do for four years, but it’s been about two years since I actually stepped onto a mat for sparring, even though I’ve stayed active with other sports constantly. Now, I’m trying to decide whether to dive back into TKD or start training kickboxing instead. One thing is non-negotiable: I absolutely cannot afford to lose any more weight, because I'm already about 20 pounds underweight as it is. In your honest opinion, which way should I go? TKD or kickboxing?
