Hey everyone.
I’m looking for some insight from anyone involved in the martial arts community.
I want to pick up a discipline, but I have zero interest in going pro or competing at any serious level.
I'm 26, and my main goal is to work on breath control and better physical coordination...
Personally, I tend to jump to conclusions too quickly and struggle with hyperactivity, so I'm hoping to find something that teaches me how to stay centered and find a bit of balance.
Is there a specific style or discipline you'd suggest for someone like me? Since I'm based in Los Angeles, any local gym recommendations would be appreciated too.
Thanks.

Angela Wright said:I was literally thinking the exact same thing. You could have picked up some parasites, which happens easily if you eat salad that wasn't washed properly or handled right.
Basically, grab a sample in a small container and get it to a lab. Ask your doctor for a referral. It could also be a fungal issue. Stop scrubbing the area; just clean it gently with an antiseptic wipe and apply some Polymer.

Is that yellow antiseptic liquid?

Honestly, just do a quick search online and then head over to your doctor; they can send you off for some lab work to confirm whether that's actually what's going on. It's also possible you're just irritating yourself if you're being a bit too aggressive with how you clean up down there... 🤷

Appreciate the help

For the last six months, I’ve been dealing with a persistent issue regarding the topic I’m currently posting about.
I haven't actually sat down with my doctor yet, so I don't have an official diagnosis to go on...
It seems like the main trouble starts right after I shower, because I get this intense urge to scratch, mostly because I tend to scrub too hard while I'm in there.
I'm not sure if anyone else here has dealt with something like this, but if you have, please, I could really use some insight...

The subject might sound a bit ridiculous, but believe me, it isn't funny when the itching actually hits.
