Those clubs have a presence everywhere. You’ll definitely get in shape—rest assured, they will sculpt you. Also, there's YouTube; check out a series like Human Weapon, for instance. It covers various skills and sports, which might help you find something that actually interests you for more serious training.
Go ahead and ask if there is anything else you need to know. 😉

I have one more thing on my mind. I’m scheduled for nose surgery in four months. I assume I won't be allowed to do any of this training for a month or two until everything is fully healed. Could you tell me if it's smarter to just wait until then? Or should I start now so I have some basics down when I return? Alternatively, maybe I should hit the gym now to get in decent shape so it's easier to start later.

Hey, you seem to have a solid handle on things, so I have a few questions for you. I’m 21 and in average shape. I’ve never trained before or even been close to combat sports, but I want to start something. My goals are pretty standard: tone up, get in better shape, and just blow off some steam. Could you recommend a martial art? Also, what kind of costs am I looking at, where should I start, and any other basic info?
