Prettier" girlfriends in Psychology ·
Immanuel Kant once noted:
I honestly don't get it, what is it about blondes that men find so incredibly captivating compared to everyone else? I mean, sure, go for the redheads—they have that fiery, unique energy that just grabs you—but blondes, especially those with soft, light hair who look delicate and pale, almost seem like these precious, fragile little girls.
But then again, at the end of the day, it’s all about psychology! For instance, having bright green eyes can be such a powerful stimulant.
And let's not forget that certain energy, that distinct presence, and that undeniable way they just command attention in a room.
She must have really been working on your insecurities.

and she actually insisted that breasts matter way more than a great backside. 😁

It’s so true, the second one always rocked that deep red or some other dark shade of lipstick with her hair down, while the first one had that loose, flowing blonde hair... I guess I just don't possess that specific kind of magnetism, especially since I never really wear my hair down.
When we were hanging out at the beach, this friend of mine let her hair down and those two guys immediately jumped on it, saying things like, "Wow, look at that gorgeous blonde hair," but when I let my hair down—which happens occasionally and is actually quite thick—I get absolutely nothing. It’s purely because I’m not a blonde. 🤣

That’s certainly a possibility, you know, it just didn't immediately cross my mind!

Have you ever experienced that awkward situation where you’re out hanging with a girlfriend and you realize everyone is staring at her instead of actually engaging with you? Looking back to when I was just a teenager, maybe fifteen or sixteen, it felt like the entire world was obsessed with my friend; she had that classic look with blonde hair, green eyes, a great tan, and a more developed figure. Even when we hit the beach, every single head turned toward her, and while I can’t say I’m unattractive—people have definitely told me I’m good-looking—it felt like I was practically invisible whenever she was around. 😁

So, what’s the secret formula here? Is it just that perfectly styled blonde hair?
And do you honestly think being sidelined like that can take a real toll on someone's self-esteem during those formative teenage years?
It was like if we were both walking down the street, guys would constantly try to pull her into their circle and say, "Hey, come hang out with us over here."

I had another friend who figured this out too; she’d just put on some bright red lipstick, let her hair fall naturally, and suddenly she was getting VIP treatment and front-row seats to a Los Angeles Dodgers game.

At the end of the day, it really goes to show that physical beauty carries a massive amount of weight. ☕
Looking for a specialist... in Health ·
Jack Grant2 said:I am looking for a recommendation for a private dermatologist in Miami who is a true expert when it comes to acne—someone really great, or honestly, just the absolute best.

Thanks!

I would suggest Tonc Stipić; he explains everything so calmly and thoroughly, he isn't aggressive with facial treatments, and he focuses on recommending creams and similar topical solutions.

On a related note regarding this topic, I visited an endocrinologist once, Betty Korljan, down in Miami, and she struck me as being a little bit blunt or brusque, though she seemed much kinder when I was there with my parent. I can't quite tell if it was just my own impression, though, so I'm not entirely sure.

Would any of the site administrators or moderators be able to help me out with something if it's at all possible? I am looking to access the old "member photos" section, specifically an archive from around 2010, because there is one particular photo that means the world to me and I would just love to have it saved as a keepsake...

Who should I reach out to about this?
Thanks so much in advance!
Period talk: Questions and advice in Women's Health ·
I wanted to reach out and ask you all...

My periods have been lasting only about three days lately, so I’m planning on heading to my OB-GYN for a checkup,
but since I recently had sex—though it wasn't full penetration—I’m wondering how she’ll actually
perform the exam, and specifically whether I should be upfront about having been intimate or just leave it at that?
Any advice? 🙂
