I actually managed to find one at a local Target that worked for me—though, naturally, they haven't stocked anything like it since...
I’ve heard nothing but glowing reviews for Shock Absorber, but I’ve yet to see them in a physical store where I could actually try them on—and frankly, I'm just not in the mood to gamble on sizing when they come at such a premium price point. Still, I told myself I’ll treat myself to a pair eventually. For reference, I'm an 85E or F.
There are a few different styles available over on ASOS.
I really ought to go take a look at this 😁

.
Well, that’s wonderful—thank you!
Do you happen to have a specific eBay link handy? 🙂
I’ll have to track down where I stashed that coat 🙂—it was honestly so darling, which is exactly why I decided to take the plunge and order that maternity piece—but, predictably, it turned out far too oversized for my frame. It’s the 20th—I caught sight of it yesterday while digging through my inbox for the shipping confirmation... 🙂
You’ve actually made me remember—back in the day, I ordered this grey coat that I’m fairly certain was maternity wear... but it was on such a massive discount that I figured, why not? In the end, it was way too big for me, so it just sat there gathering dust. I think I was about 20 at the time—maybe 18 or 19—and if memory serves, I bought it from Nordstrom 😁. Man, if only I could dig through my old emails right now to see what the actual deal was
. Found it! If you really want me to, I can go hunting for it 😁. I can't quite remember if it's still at my place in Chicago or if I dropped it off at my mom's house back in the suburbs.

I'm torn between a UK 18 and a UK 20. My measurements—bare, no bra or clothes—are 108cm bust, 97cm waist, and 120cm hips. Looking at 's version of these dresses, the bust seems to be the main factor, which puts me in a bind. Based on the numbers, a 20 might be safer since I don't want anything too tight, but if they really do run large, it might end up being way too big. I've read through all the ASOS threads and I'm still just as lost as when I started. 🤦
Well, I have a 120+ cm bust and I've always gone with a size 20—so you definitely won't need to go that high 😁
I actually ordered one from La Redoute a few years back—it was quite decent. If I recall correctly, they had them in up to size 20 during some sale for around $45... I have no clue where I tucked mine away to take a photo for you, since it’s far too big for me now—so it's buried somewhere in the closet—but it was a lovely, classic beige balloon style 🙂
I have the one from the manga—though it's black, mind you. It’s translucent, yes, but not so much that you feel obligated to wear something underneath it. I haven't a clue what the white version is like.
As far as my black one goes, I have a bit of a grievance—it bled color all over me, even though, naturally, I washed it before wearing it. 😁

I ordered some DP jeans,
they're black skinnies, but oh my god, the smell...🙂
I've washed them five times now and I just can't get rid of that chemical gasoline scent.
Any tips?
Anyway, I'm curious about those Oltre sizes,
Italian sizing usually runs small,
are you saying they go up to a 52? Would a lady who wears a US size 14 fit into a 52?
😁
Which ones specifically? Send over a link. I picked up ^category~[291051|291043]&noOfRefinements=2']a pair recently and they were absolutely brilliant—loved them. And they didn't have any weird, industrial odor at all.
Just go ahead and order online from dorothyperkins.com—it actually arrives quite quickly...

I’m having a bit of a crisis with sizing... basically, I’m stuck hovering right between two different sizes, so I gotta know: are their actual measurements (like, in inches) actually legit compared to what they list on the website?
I’ve got my eye on this absolutely gorgeous dress, but now I’m just overthinking everything... honestly, it’s not even a huge deal if it shows up a little big—I can always make it work or take it in—but if it comes in too small? Yeah, that’s where we hit a major snag...
Wait, what do you mean "online"?
