Lady XXL is over at 65 Tratinja... in downtown Chicago... it’s right in that sweet spot between the Chase Bank and the old vacant lot near the expressway... super close to the Wells Fargo too... don't even bother calling because you can spot it easily from the CTA train—plus, if you're driving, you can pull up right to the front door... if you need a more detailed breakdown, just hit my PMs... I don't wanna clog up this thread with a whole novel right now.
sorry it took me forever to get back to you--I haven't been hanging out on this forum much lately.

Ugh, I can't believe she wrote all that entire saga just to totally blank on the actual question at the end... and then she rolls up to this thread acting like she’s checking if anyone even mentioned it—like, girl, I *know* where to look! Anyway, what I actually want to know is—where are you guys picking up those breezy little summer shorts right now?? You know, the ones perfect for hitting the beach or just lounging around the house when it's boiling out? Are we talking 100% cotton or some other comfy vibe??

Hey ladies... it’s been forever since I popped into this thread... but oh my god, I have to tell you guys about my recent trip to Target—it was kind of a letdown, honestly! Every single T-shirt they had was way too short... and it's not even like I'm super tall or anything... but I am seriously obsessed with shirts that actually cover my butt!! I am such a sucker for that look, it's my absolute weakness!! 😉 So, I didn't exactly have a "eureka" moment while browsing... I managed to snag just one single shirt that was actually a bit longer...

But anyway, since we're all chatting about weddings... I can't even begin to imagine myself in those tight little dresses or silk slips and stuff like that. But lately, it feels like weddings are being thrown at me left and right! So, I headed over to Old Navy (I’ve mentioned them before and yeah, I’m a loyal customer through and through) and picked up these gorgeous cotton pants—straight leg style—and a tunic to go with them. And get this—the tunic is FINALLY long enough! It's also cotton, fits perfectly, and has this amazing printed design on it. It washes totally fine, too. It’s such a cool piece!!! And trust me, it looks SO good!!! 😍😍

When she first showed it to me... I'll be honest, I totally blanked for a second. I actually thought the sales clerk had lost her mind—like, how on earth am I supposed to wear this to a wedding? My first instinct was just... nope, no way... 🤷 But then, once I actually put it on... wow... I was stunned! I couldn't believe how flattering it was and how much it elongated my whole silhouette!!
It’s this beautiful earthy brown color with a floral print that has these stunning copper and chocolate tones... it's seriously amazing!! Plus, it's incredibly comfy. And the best part? I've been wearing the pants every day to work lately because it's been so hot out, and they are just so breezy and easy—just wide, straight legs. Honestly, I felt like I wasn't wearing anything at all!!! 😍😍
I'm already planning to grab a different printed tunic for the next wedding in July—maybe a sleeveless one this time, because I bet it's going to be absolutely scorching out there!!

So, yeah, that's all the help I can offer regarding wedding attire, since I'm definitely not the type for dresses, skirts, or fancy button-downs...

I really hope you all find exactly what you're looking for!!! 😍😍

Sorry for the massive wall of text, but I just had to share this with you all since I know the struggle of hunting down the perfect outfit for a wedding is REAL!!

I’ve been lurking around here for a while now—just reading everyone else's posts without actually saying anything—but today I finally have something worth sharing, so here I am! So, get this: yesterday I stumbled upon this shop called "Lady XXL" that specializes in plus-size fashion. Since spring is officially kicking in—and let’s be real, like every other woman ever, I feel like I have absolutely nothing to wear—I decided to treat myself and go on a little shopping spree. Now, my little dilemma is that I’m a bit on the curvier side—I usually rock a size 16 or 18 depending on how things are cut. For the longest time, I’ve been hunting for stuff that actually looks modern and youthful, you know? I didn't want to just settle for a sea of black, gray, or boring brown like some old lady—not me! Anyway, I just had to share this win with you guys... Lady XXL is officially becoming my new go-to spot. And honestly, even with everything going on with the economy right now, the prices are actually super reasonable. I even picked up these killer jeans—thank God, finally! They weren't expensive at all, and for the quality you get? Totally worth it. $123Honestly, they are just gorgeous—like, seriously beautiful! The color is absolutely stunning, and the model itself? Totally sleek and modern. I’m also low-key obsessed with this tracksuit that totally caught my eye... and honestly, looking at the tag, the price seems super reasonable too. Not even overpriced at all! $133Honestly, I’m telling you—it’s like I *always* need to head back there every other week! It’s become such a ritual at this point. And get this—while I was wandering around the other day, I spotted the most incredible t-shirt. Like, seriously, it was perfect. $50... hehehe..
So, here’s my big recommendation for you guys—honestly, just go check it out! They have tons of really cute, super modern stuff, and it’s actually pretty easy to get to since it's right over by Tratinjska. I finally found a spot where I can actually get some decent shopping done without having to cross the border into Austria or Canada—which, let's be real, is such a hassle sometimes! Anyway, I really hope this helps you all make up your minds about that spring wardrobe refresh... catch you later, everyone!
