Fashion for curvy girls

Just catching up on what everyone’s saying here, so I figured I’d chime in...
I’m pretty tall—about 6 feet—and usually float between a US size 12 or 14 depending on the day. Honestly, finding tops isn't my biggest headache, though sleeve length can be a bit of a nuisance😠. But shopping for pants? Jeans, slacks, whatever—it’s a total nightmare. Everything is always way too short, and it's not like I'm some stick-thin runway model either🤣. I’ve got wider hips, which adds another layer to the struggle. That said, I’ve been really happy with the denim selection at Dorothy Perkins; they consistently carry sizes up to a US 16 or 18, which is roughly our 48 or 50 back home.
My mom is a bit more curvy, so I know where to look when I’m hunting for pieces for her—she usually wears a US 20 or 22. She actually finds the XL selection at C&A quite reliable; they have a great variety, nothing is overpriced, and you can find everything from basic tees to nicer tunics for under $35, $73, plus they have some lovely jackets... worth a look if you happen to be nearby, might find a little something.😍
Marks & Spencer is decent, though their inventory can be hit or miss sometimes. Personally, I think you get the best bang for your buck there during the clearance sales. Also, there's a decent selection of jeans and tees over at Big Bull (right above the grocery store in the Spanish District).
Anyway, I've gone on a bit of a tangent there. Hope this helps someone out somewhere.👍
