I am looking to pick up some pieces for my girlfriend, so I was wondering where you all tend to shop—specifically, where do plus-size ladies find their clothing and lingerie these days? Ideally, I’d prefer an online option based within the US or perhaps Europe, just to make returns a bit more manageable, though I certainly hope it doesn't come to that. P.S. Does anyone know where I can track down those vintage-style Pin Up dresses specifically designed for curvy figures?

If you want Pin Up dresses, just Google Hell Bunny ;-)

Anyway, I picked up a blue maxi skirt at H&M for $28 🙂
We'll see how it goes. I love being able to just sink my hands into those big skirts while the kids run wild in the park. 😍

I wasn't entirely sure if I was allowed to just drop links here—didn't want to break any rules—so I hesitated...

Hey everyone—I just launched a new group on Facebook called Shell Corner, and I’d love for us to hang out over there too. I’m envisioning it as a space for all those little joys, life experiences, and recipes—basically, a spot where we aren't just stuck talking about fashion. It would be great to see you all there... :-)

Just wanted to mention this one more time—I'm noticing a lot of you guys are around a size 14 or 16. Just a heads-up: the ASOS Curve line in an 18 fits way differently than the standard sizing. The cuts are much roomier, and they don't taper at the waist nearly as much.

I didn't actually order it—just read enough blogs that I decided to clone this style instead. Honestly, anything less than unformatted is the last thing I need right now.

So, who’s hitting that 46-48 range? 18 is pretty standard for the regular line—nothing crazy there. But if we're looking at who's closer to 50... I'd say the Asos 18-20 from the Curve line is getting there.

Oh, by the way—I totally forgot to mention that DP summer dress from that last free shipping deal. It was listed as number 20 for some ridiculous price—like, maybe six or seven bucks—so I figured, why not? Let's see what happens. The dress itself is actually pretty cute, and the length is decent—not too short, just hits right around the knee for me, which is perfect—but... it’s way too loose in the chest area. 😲 🤣It’s got plenty of length—which is great—but I really wish it were a bit slimmer through the body instead of being so flared out. I knew it would be wide, but it’s that maternity style that sits right under the bust. I thought it’d be perfect for just lounging around the beach or walking along the coast, but... yeah. I’ll probably have to take it in a bit and figure out a way to tie it under the ribs. Not looking to sell it or anything, though—the length is actually lovely. 😬 😍

So—for a 47-inch bust, a UK 20 at Debenhams is actually running way too big.

No problem at all.
Lee Cooper's cuts are just a bit too narrow in the chest for me—definitely going to steer clear of them. If anyone’s planning on placing an order, let me know though—they actually have some really nice stuff. 😍.

Ugh, I really shouldn't have read that... 😁
Ordered this just the day before yesterday

and if what you're saying is true, it'll probably be way too big for me. 😢
Best printer for a small home office? in Computer Peripherals ·

That’s exactly what I was afraid of—any better suggestions?

Hey everyone.

I'm looking for some recommendations for an all-in-one printer for a small home office. Needs to be wireless, white—because, you know, the wife prefers the aesthetic—laser, capable of handling about 1,000 pages a month, and with reasonably priced original toner cartridges.

I was checking out this one but I can't quite tell if it's actually any good.

Dana Grant14 said:Has anyone actually tried Ulla Poppenken bras? Like, what's the verdict on quality and are they worth the price tag?

I’ve tried them—honestly, it’s the best bra I’ve ever owned. Super comfortable, doesn't dig in, and the straps actually stay put. I usually wear a 34B, which can be a bit tricky to find. It cost me $67, and even though I wash it every other day, it’s still going strong. It isn't brand new, obviously, but it holds its shape perfectly and hasn't lost any support...

Jonathan Perez88 said:Does anyone actually know a shop that reliably stocks tall boots with a wide calf?

You can definitely find them at Nordstrom. I picked up a pair back in January—real leather, though they weren't cheap...$667 and they were a total hunt to find. The sales clerk actually mentioned that you have to grab them the second the season hits because they fly off the shelves.
I was just at the Nordstrom in the mall today and they definitely have them in stock. You can also find that specific brand at Macy's downtown—Brunella or something like that. Basically, look for the grey floral box and you're set.

Count me in too 😁

Anyone have any leads on where to pick up some knee-high boots with a wide shaft? Looking for riding boots or something similar. I stopped by Nordstrom and they have great options for that specific fit 😁, but the price tag is a bit much $667. I’d definitely prefer something a little more budget-friendly 😁

Anyone still running Windows 7? in Software ·
My apologies if this has already been covered—I’ve searched everywhere and turned up nothing. Anyway, does anyone have a decent mail client for Windows 7? Windows Live keeps freezing the second I try to compose a new message... is there any fix for this?

With Thunderbird, I can't seem to change the POP incoming mail server settings, and the lack of a contacts sidebar compatible with version 3.1 is driving me crazy.

I gave Pegasus a shot—it's an absolute nightmare to navigate. :-/

Then there was Opera Mail—most of our clients aren't set up for it, and the mail client lacks both incoming and outgoing read requests entirely.

Please, I need some advice before I lose my mind.

Thanks much.
