Haha... This movie already has over 350,000 fans on Facebook, and it hasn't even hit theaters yet. I suspect the main reason is just having Taylor Lautner in the lead role.

Abduction
New movie starring Taylor Lautner (Jacob from Twilight).
Nathan never felt a connection to his parents. By pure chance, he finds his photo on the pages of missing persons files and realizes he was abducted as a child. He starts uncovering a massive conspiracy, forcing him to run just to stay alive.

Fine. Whatever works for you. For me, the 90s—specifically around 1994—produced a massive amount of great movies. And since I prefer older stuff over what’s out now, the 80s were actually incredible for me.
Maybe it's just my taste. Beyond that style, I'm into the classics... things like Schwarzenegger's hits, The Terminator, Predator, Aliens, Back to the Future, Scarface, Blade Runner, Mad Max 2, Top Gun, Die Hard, and Lethal Weapon.
You might be right. They aren't the greatest films ever made, but they're damn fun to watch...

An 80s gem. The golden age of cinema, at least in my book. It runs a bit long for my taste, but that doesn't take away from the quality. Every single element is masterfully executed... From the stellar performances, featuring the legendary Robert De Niro, to the top-tier direction and that incredible score by Maestro Morricone...
The Jewish ghetto in New York City during the 1920s was crawling with all sorts of gangs... and that kid gang led by Max and Noodles feels exactly the same way.
Kids roaming the streets, stealing, acting like they own the neighborhood through petty crime. Noodles is head over heels for a young Jewish girl named Deborah, but her father—a local bar owner—is standing in the way of her dreams of becoming a dancer. As the group grows up, they swear eternal loyalty and brotherhood to one another. They set up a shared safe to stash away the cash, starting with small-time scams and eventually moving into much darker business...

Callogero’s father (De Niro) is an honest man, a bus driver who wants his son to earn a living legitimately, far away from guys like Sonny. But Callogero still seeks out Sonny to learn the rules of life in the Bronx.
Despite being a gangster, Sonny cares for the boy and tries to show him how dangerous that lifestyle really is. Still, the kid misinterprets the lessons and gets caught up in racial fights with his friends. Things get even more complicated when he falls for a Black girl.
This movie stuck with me. It was great. Probably time for a rewatch... pure perfection. A raw look at life in the Bronx. I remember sitting around with my father and uncle watching this masterpiece a long time ago. Some parts still make me laugh... like those scenes with that unlucky gambler. Or the old man calling everyone Mary. In the end, it turns into a sad film, but it's incredibly real. Everyone should see it. You don't forget it...
