Tuberculosis awareness in Health ·
Hey there.
I've been wondering about that thing they do when you enter 7th grade—you know, that test where they prick your arm with a needle, inject some liquid, and then you have to wait a couple of days before they check the results.
I've got two quick questions regarding this.
1. What’s the actual name of that test?
2. How does the process work if you actually need the vaccination versus if you don't?
Cheers, hope I made sense and clearly explained what I'm looking for.

- If this thread is in the wrong section, I’ll leave it to the mods to move it. Just shoot me a DM letting me know where it ended up, and please—don't dump it into some massive sub-forum. Thanks.

So, here's what's actually on my mind...
When an older person (say, anywhere from 50 to 90 years old) gets a scrape or a burn, how does the regeneration process actually work? Are the cells that grow back entirely new, or is it just the old ones doing a reruns?

And look, don't bother asking why I'm curious about this. Most people are going to think the question is "absurd," but I'm not here to start an argument. 🙂
