I'm currently taking Sors, but honestly, I’m starting to think it might not be the best way to handle this—at least based on some of the stuff I've been digging up online. Maybe I should look into trying gemfibrozil instead?

And how often are you taking them? I deal with genetically high triglycerides myself, and I ended up being prescribed Sors as well.
