It’s a shame they didn't walk away with the win in the end. Then again, I honestly couldn't pick anyone else to take the trophy; every winner this year has been solid. At least they got the nomination. The audience clearly sees their value, too—if I'm not mistaken, they’ve probably pulled in more revenue than any other nominee so far. 👍
I'm thrilled Viola Davis took it home. She’s an absolute powerhouse, and I've been a fan of her work for years—though I still can't wrap my head around her role in How to Get Away with Murder.
I'm also glad Denzel Washington didn't take the win for Best Actor. To be honest, the movie dragged for me, so in my opinion, they shouldn't have picked up anything else besides Viola.
I don't know him all that well, honestly, but I've been obsessed with Missing you ever since I heard it during a So You Think You Can Dance routine a few years back.. 👍
Such a strange track... but that arrangement is actually super interesting. I’m digging it, honestly. There’s this cool sense of progression as the song unfolds.
When I first heard this track, I thought it was a bit of a snooze. But once I got into a certain headspace where I just needed something chill, it actually worked wonders for helping me unwind. Unfortunately, after looping it a few times, the novelty wore off and now it’s pretty much fallen off my radar entirely.
I'm really curious to see if this one lands for me. I'm heading to the theater tomorrow.. 😁 Actually, thanks for the heads-up that most of the action happens in the first half. Good to know so I can prepare myself. 😬
rowdyowl said:The first one was solid, the second was a letdown, and I haven't touched the series since. Honestly, this feels like a total franchise violation. Are they even giving Raymond and Višnjić any lines in this one?
Look, I still love these movies, but massive sequels like this are usually overkill. It’s not just an Ice Age thing, either. Hollywood ran out of imagination decades ago; now they just churn out endless sequels, prequels, and remakes. 🙄
I haven't seen the fourth Ice Age installment yet, but I was reminiscing about the original yesterday... what a classic. 😁 I'm definitely sticking to the English version. Might hit the theater this weekend.
And yeah, I'm pretty sure Ray Romano is still voicing Manny. As for the American dub, who knows.
