The ultrasound didn't turn up anything, but the swelling hasn't gone down at all. They've referred me for a CT scan now. Does anyone know what I should expect from that process?
I’m dealing with an issue regarding my sublingual salivary gland. It isn't painful or stinging; it's just slightly swollen under my tongue.

Following an ENT consultation,

The findings were as follows:
OTS and RNS results are normal. OFS shows chronic changes in the pharynx, with hypertrophy of the left sublingual gland. Parotid ducts are normal, and the caruncles are fine. No concretions were felt during palpation. ILS findings are normal. The neck palpation was clear.

The diagnosis is:
Suspected left-sided sublingual gland sialadenitis.
Taking Clavichord twice a day, every 12 hours.
Follow-up with the ENT in seven days—or sooner if things get worse—followed by a salivary gland ultrasound once the treatment course is complete.

I already had the ultrasound done and everything looked clear, so now I have to go in for a CT scan.

What should I expect from this? 😢

My follow-up appointment is in two days, but there hasn't been any progress yet. The gland size remains unchanged, and now I've developed some oral thrush from taking the Clavocin.

Following my ENT appointment

Status:
The OTS and RNS results came back normal. However, the OFS shows chronic changes, specifically a hypertrophic left sublingual gland. The parotid ducts and caruncles are all normal. No stones were found during palpation. The ILS looks fine, and the neck palpation was clear.

The diagnosis is:
Suspected left-side sublingual gland sialadenitis.
I've been prescribed Clavocin, one tablet twice a day, every 12 hours.
I have an ENT follow-up scheduled in 7 days—though I'll head back sooner if things get worse—and I'll need an ultrasound of the salivary glands once the treatment is finished.

Hey everyone, I'm having some issues with my tongue. It stays white quite often, and sometimes I wake up in the morning feeling like my mouth is incredibly dry. I manage to get rid of the white coating by brushing, but it just keeps coming back. A few days ago, I noticed a little swelling underneath my tongue on the left side, and I'm honestly not sure what it is. I've attached a photo so you can get a better look and let me know if you've dealt with anything similar. https://prnt.sc/o3dkgf
I'm getting pretty worried about this. My oral hygiene is solid—I brush every morning and night, and sometimes even during the day when I'm home. I'm 21 years old and I wouldn't call myself a heavy smoker; I usually go through one pack a week.
Dealing with hemorrhoids – any advice? in Health ·
Hi there, I'm 21 years old and I've been dealing with quite a bit of rectal bleeding. It isn't massive or anything, just a few streaks of blood, but I'm also experiencing some stinging and itching around my anus.😢 This has been going on for quite a while now, so if anyone could offer some advice or guidance, I would be incredibly grateful.
