PS: Could an IP conflict be the cause here, seeing as I have two PCs running on the same IP address?
I've tried everything suggested, but nothing seems to work. Still, thanks for all the help!

Basically, here’s the deal: I try to open a website or click a link, and initially, nothing happens at all. Then, if I hit "stop" and then "refresh," the page starts loading, but it gets stuck halfway through or maybe two-thirds of the way. It just freezes. I have to hit "stop" and "refresh" yet again before the page finally loads completely. It's the same thing with YouTube; the video tries to load, but it stalls out before finishing, making it impossible to watch. Once again, I'm stuck hitting "stop" and "refresh" just to get it moving...

I even tried connecting the router to just a single PC, but that didn't change anything, so I'm honestly stumped.😕

To send this reply, I'll probably have to go through that whole ridiculous loop I described above once more.

Well, I’ve tried everything on this list, but the connection is still acting up. To make matters worse, AT&T's Customer Service hasn't been helpful at all.

The thing is, my DSL was working perfectly fine for a few months, but then out of nowhere, it started lagging on two different PCs. I'm honestly stumped.

Hi everyone!

I'm having some trouble with my DSL connection.

It’s incredibly slow; sometimes I have to click a link multiple times just to get it to respond. Pages load painfully slowly or don't finish loading at all, forcing me to hit "stop" and then "refresh" just to see the full content. This happens whether I'm using Internet Explorer or Firefox.🤷

I'm using a D-Link DSL 584 T router connected to two different PCs. Both computers are experiencing the same lag. It wasn't always this way—the DSL worked perfectly for the first two months—but things started acting up about two weeks ago.

I've already installed all the latest antivirus and antispyware software and cleaned up both PCs, yet the connection remains sluggish.

Does anyone know what might be causing this or how I can fix it?

Thanks in advance!😉
What are you even talking about? I live in America!
