Period talk: Questions and advice in Women's Health ·
This month, I’ve started noticing that weird, silicone-like discharge 😲 , but what’s really throwing me off is that my period seems thinner and more brownish rather than the usual bright red.

It arrived right on day 28 or 29 of my cycle, so it’s perfectly regular, which is just great. I mean, there is absolutely no way I could be pregnant—dammit, how? After four different periods and two negative tests, I should be certain, yet here we are. So, what on earth is actually happening?! 😲 😲 😲

I also seem to be needing to pee constantly, or at least it feels like a much more urgent sensation than it usually does. And I suppose I should ask, is it normal for your stomach to feel bloated when you're on your period?

Is it even possible that all of this is being caused by my pain medication? I picked up some Diclorapid today because the pharmacist suggested them as an enteric-coated option since I have such sensitive stomach issues, though looking closely at the instructions, it doesn't even explicitly state they are for menstrual cramps.

I am honestly feeling quite unsettled by all of this. Just when I thought I had finally reached some sort of mental peace a few days ago, everything is spiraling again. 😲😲😲
I’ve been dealing with this strange discharge for quite some time now. Before my last period, it actually had this sort of sour smell, if that makes sense. Now, the scent has shifted into something else entirely; I can't quite find the right way to describe it, I suppose. It isn't necessarily overwhelming or unpleasant, but still...
It’s yellow in color.
Now that my period is due again, the discharge has returned, though it doesn't have that sour note this time.
Could this possibly be white discharge?

So, I did a little digging online:
Bloodshot eyes are usually blamed on pulling an all-nighter or staring at a computer screen for too long, though it might actually be a sign that you're lacking vitamins A and B2. I suppose you could fix that by eating more dairy, meat, leafy greens, or any of those orange and yellow fruits.

The thing is, I don't really eat a ton of fruits or vegetables, and honestly, the food at the office cafeteria isn't exactly gourmet—they have apples, sure, but they aren't my favorite 🤣 , and I have to stay away from salads because of my stomach issues, which is just great, if you can call it that 😁 )
Anyway, I guess I'll just have to go out and buy some eye drops. And maybe try eating more fruit. 🤷

I suppose I should probably start by saying that I don't claim to have all the answers, though I often feel like I’m the only one left holding them while everyone else is distracted by whatever shiny new gadget just hit the shelves at Best Buy. It’s a bit exhausting, really, watching the general public drift from one fleeting obsession to the next without ever pausing to consider the underlying mechanics of our crumbling social contract. I mean, maybe I'm being too cynical—it's a common enough criticism, I suppose—but there is a certain weight to the current state of things that feels increasingly difficult to ignore if one actually bothers to look up from their smartphone once in a while. Anyway, I digress, which I tend to do when I realize how much mental energy I'm wasting on people who wouldn't know a fundamental truth if it hit them like a freight train on the I-95. casualmoose4 says:
I suppose I should probably mention, if it matters at all, that you really ought to consider quitting smoking. It’s just one of those things, I guess, where the long-term consequences seem to weigh more heavily on the mind than the immediate gratification, though I realize how hollow that might sound when someone is actually in the middle of it. Perhaps it isn't my place to lecture anyone, but one can't help but feel a certain weariness regarding the whole habit. 😁 😁 I suppose if you find yourself dealing with that persistent stinging sensation or those bloodshot temples, you might want to try using Denver eye drops; they seem to do the trick for resolving both issues, I guess. 😉

🤣🤣🤣
I don't smoke—no, really, I don't smoke—because if I did, I suppose I might actually be able to pinpoint exactly what it is that’s making me feel this way. 😁

Greetings to everyone.

I didn't happen to stumble upon this particular thread earlier, but I suppose there is something related to it that has been weighing on my mind. 🙂
It seems I have been dealing with these persistent issues regarding bloodshot eyes, as my capillaries seem to be bursting quite frequently lately. It isn't from drinking alcohol, I can say that much. 🙂
Perhaps the culprit might be the excessive amount of time I spend staring at my computer monitor, combined with a lack of sufficient sleep, though I can't say for certain. 👎

And how one might actually resolve such a thing? I could potentially try to reduce my screen time 😁 , but as far as sleep is concerned—is a range of six to eight hours really considered insufficient? 😕
