Hello,

My mother-in-law has metastases and finished her first round of chemo a week ago. Even before treatment started, she was struggling physically and mentally, spending most of her time bedridden. Since the chemo, things have taken a turn for the worse.

Our biggest concern—and we're feeling pretty helpless here—is that she hasn't wanted to eat for three days. If she does eat anything at all, it’s minimal, like half a banana or two spoonfuls of soup over the entire day. She's also refusing to bathe.

Has anyone else dealt with this? If you have any practical advice, I'd appreciate it.

Her doctor mentioned sending a home psychological team, but who knows how long that will actually take...
I don't even know how to describe it since the scent keeps shifting and varying... but it isn't fishy, nor is it that sour-sweet smell. I've already scoured the internet reading everything there is to read, but nothing mentions anything like what I'm experiencing. That’s why I'm not even sure if this is an actual infection or just a slight shift in my flora due to stress... honestly, what confuses me most is that I don't have any other symptoms at all.

And since it isn't an emergency, I won't be coming in for an appointment with Dr. Gynaecols for the next 2-3 months.😢
Does anyone have any advice for my situation? Please guys, I know this is a bit of a long post, but it’s not actually that huge that nobody would read it... 😢
There are way too many pages here and I don't have the time to read everything, so sorry if I’m repeating a question... 🙂
Basically, I can't get to my gynecologist anytime soon, and I have some discharge that has me wondering if I should be worried. It's usually the same as always, but after sex, it gets heavier and turns very white and thick. What’s really confusing me is that over the last three weeks, its consistency changes every single day. One day it's white with an unpleasant smell, then the next day it's gone entirely, or it's clear-white with no smell, or the odor is completely different from the day before. I thought it would pass after my period since I don't have any itching or other symptoms, but now it's just getting frustrating. My "genius" boyfriend thinks I've been with someone else and that I have an STD. So, I'm wondering—do you think this could actually be something serious, and can I handle it myself? My sister's doctor isn't returning my calls, and I really don't have the time to go there and wait hours just to ask what's going on. If anyone has dealt with this and thinks it might be serious, I'll head in immediately today. 😁
