Hi everyone, I was wondering if someone could help me out with a question; I'm 43 years old and my periods are still regular.
Last month, right in the middle of my cycle, I noticed some brownish discharge. My last period ran from November 13th to the 18th.
Then today—which is basically the third day since my period ended—I spotted this tiny light pink patch on my daily liner,
and that was it. Nothing else. I usually head to the gynecologist once a year and everything always comes back fine. I'm planning to go back next month or maybe sometime next year.
Thanks in advance!
Hi everyone, could someone help me make sense of these ultrasound results? It says the liver is morphologically steatotic, without any specific lesions or focal areas.
The pancreas shows mild fibrocystic changes, and the spleen looks fine—but let’s get to the part that actually matters: the kidneys. Right kidney measures 110x55mm
with a cortex of 16mm and a hyperechoic renal pelvis. Using Doppler at the level of the arcuate arteries, the RI is 0.92 with a Vmax of 150cm/sec.
Left kidney is 105x50mm, cortex is 12mm, hyperechoic renal pelvis, RI is 0.98, and Vmax reaches 155cm/sec.
Diagnosis:
hepatic steatosis
and nephroangiosclerosis in both kidneys with rapid blood flow. All the doctor said was that the kidneys "aren't good."
The patient is a 71-year-old woman dealing with diabetes and high blood pressure—she's on medication for both.
Thanks in advance for any insight.
