Believe me or not, after dealing with endless rounds of vaginal suppositories, I’ve decided to go the "natural" route. I'm thinking about trying lard... I know, sounds absolutely revolting, but I've been reading online that it actually works, and a friend even swore by it. The plan is to just smear some on a pad and head to sleep for a few nights... any girls here actually tried this who can tell me if it's legit? 😉

Sandra Brown2 said:hmm, maybe you haven't seen the symptoms disappear because most of it just leaked out too fast? honestly, it's possible that's why nothing's peeling either... when I was using them, I noticed if I stood up right after putting them in, everything just drains out immediately, and then I wouldn't notice much peeling on those days. I was using them every other day. Not really sure how much they actually helped since my doctor's appointment isn't for another three weeks

mm, it didn't really leak out that much, like, just a little bit when I was applying it... idk
maybe this is a stupid question, but do you think Canesten would even do anything for me? then again, I don't have any itching at all, just that damn discharge...
let me know once you've done yours 😉

None of this stuff is working, I’m actually about to lose my mind!! I seriously can't deal with going back to the OBGYN again when it’s pretty damn obvious nothing they suggest is doing a thing 😢

Linda Diaz21 said:So how do those vaginal suppositories actually work? Do you feel any pain or stinging? From what I’ve gathered, they’re supposed to peel off the lining from the inside, so I’m curious about what that’s actually like...

Honestly, I don't feel a single thing 😕>
No weird tissue or anything bizarre coming out of me, despite all the horror stories on other forums and even what the instructions say. The only thing is I have to wear a pad because I feel some fluid leaking out right after I use them, but nothing major or gross...
I mean, once I did see something on my pad that looked kind of like chewed-up bubble gum 🙄, so maybe that was some kind of peeling
But then again, maybe that's just because I'm only using them every three days instead of daily like I should be
I'm not even sure if they're helping. My discharge is still heavy, though maybe that's just because my period is coming up soon, who knows...🤷

Linda Diaz21 said:electricridge20, I’m not sure if it’s too early to ask, but did those medicated suppositories actually do anything for you? My OBGYN diagnosed me with a little cervical tear—said most women have them, it's nothing serious, and there's really no need to do anything about it... "nothing serious"??? I'm dealing with constant discharge here, and I'm just supposed to live with it because apparently it's "no big deal"...

Anyway, I’m planning on hitting up a second doctor once my period is over, but in the meantime, I'm dying to know if those Albertsons suppositories actually work. How have they been working out for you?

hey
I just used the first one. My doctor told me to go every three days, so today is number two. No major changes yet, but honestly, it feels like there's slightly less discharge already... I'll let everyone know how it goes once I'm done with the course. 😉
Ugh, man, this discharge is starting to drive me crazy. I tried taking Linex Lady but it didn't do squat. Fingers crossed this stuff actually works...😕

Popped the first one in today, so we’ll see how it goes... 😉

Sophia Wells72 said:This is usually what they go for when you're dealing with those mild HPV changes... since those vaginal applicators basically work by peeling away the surface tissue that's actually affected.

I don't know how much that’s actually going to help with the wound... Honestly, wouldn't it be better to just have your OB-GYN apply some Albertsons antiseptic or something directly? At least they can see exactly where the irritation is and hit the spot... This way, you never really know if the suppository is even going to melt properly or hit the right area...

Look, I really want you to get this right... and honestly? Just listen to him when it comes to that every third day schedule. Seriously. Forget what your aunt or the local CVS pharmacist tells you... just follow his lead on this one...

I think a few girls here mentioned using those Albertsons vaginal wipes to deal with tearing, but honestly... I can't for the life of me remember if they actually worked or not... 🤷

I don't know... he told me that's how it works, so I guess I'll give it a shot and see what happens... 😉
Thanks... really hoping things get sorted out soon too... 🙂

Hey there! Quick question... has anyone here actually tried these vaginal suppositories? My OB-GYN recommended them to me today because I’ve got some irritation down there and my discharge is getting pretty heavy. He told me to use them every three days, but the pharmacist at CVS was insisting I should use them daily. Honestly, I think I'll just stick to what the doctor said... anyway, I wanted to see if any of you have used these before? What were you using them for? Thanks 🙂
Period talk: Questions and advice in Women's Health ·
Hey everyone! I’m honestly not even sure where to post this, so I figured I'd just drop it here... 😕
My period was supposed to show up on the 28th, but since it usually hits about 3 or 4 days late anyway, I wasn't really sweating it. Then I started seeing this brownish discharge, followed by some reddish bits, so I just assumed my period was finally making its grand entrance the next day. But instead, that dark, reddish discharge just kept dragging on for an entire week... now I'm stuck wondering what the move is. Should I go see a doctor right away, or just wait a few more days to see if things settle down and my actual period actually shows up? Maybe it's just some kind of infection... has anyone else dealt with this before? Thanks in advance 😉
