Best photo editing software? in Software ·
bluetiger67 said:So, I am looking for some solid advice regarding a program that would allow me to reshape an image, provided it isn't Adobe Photoshop or CorelDraw. Essentially, I need something where I can modify specific parts of a photo, or perhaps if it actually is possible within Photoshop, I would love for someone to share a link so I can see how that process works.🙏

is there a program out there that allows me to cleanly—and simply—remove excess background from a photo?
I just want to avoid using Photoshop, as it all feels a bit too complicated for my needs.🤣

It is a pretty decent little tool... which offers significantly more functionality than Microsoft Paint, yet remains much more approachable than Adobe Photoshop for those who find the latter a bit overwhelming.
The internet is absolutely teeming with tutorials for it, if you ever feel the need to learn.

Google Picasa - this is also quite a handy option for editing, organizing your library, and sharing your photos online.

You should aim for the most stable and clear-cut setup possible, and honestly, you shouldn't even bother comparing it to something like Glary Utilities.

Task Manager cleans up the registry quite effectively.....
Task Manager—what I find most useful about it is how clearly it allows you to shut down all those unnecessary background processes whenever you feel like it....

Why on earth was that link removed!?!?!?!?!

It was just a BETA version... I truly don't see what the issue is here. Or perhaps I simply need to sit down and reread the forum rules one more time!!??
How to save webpages? in IT Support ·
Sam Murphy said:How does this actually work with Opera? When I save something in Opera and then try to open it offline using Mozilla, it just won't load...

Well, if you look back, crimsonfalcon67 actually laid it all out for you quite clearly.
Just go to File > Save As, and when you get to the file type dropdown, make sure you select Web archive (single file) then hit Save. Once you've done that, you should be able to open that file in whatever application you prefer, whether it's Word, Internet Explorer, or even Opera itself.
What browser are you guys using? in Software ·
Internet Explorer.
It’s straightforward enough, really; I have my Google favorites all set up, so what else could a person possibly need from a browser!?
I see you all getting so worked up over Opera, Firefox, and those other fancy browsers... but honestly, none of you are going to find anything on Google faster or better than I can!☕
