I skimmed the last few pages, but most of the discussion seems focused on cosmetic tweaks done by private doctors. To get straight to the point: can anyone share their firsthand experience or a solid recommendation regarding how this works at a hospital setting? I have a deviated septum, and while I’m interested in some aesthetic work, I want to keep it incredibly subtle—nothing about getting a tiny "button" nose, just smoothing out the bump on my left side. What does the procedure look like, and how does the billing work? Also, should I be less confident in the results since it's not a private specialist where I'm dropping $1,000 out of pocket?😢

That’s exactly what I’m saying... you really need to go see a certain guy in Chicago. I’ve heard him mentioned a few times as someone who does incredible aesthetic nose work—he’s basically a sculptor at this point. Plus, he’s a full ENT, so it's actually his specialty...

If you don't walk in there and explicitly tell the doctor exactly what you want for your nose, they’re just going to give you whatever they personally think looks best. And honestly, that isn't just an issue with actresses—it's how most doctors operate.
I laid out every single one of my requirements myself; basically, I made sure the changes wouldn't be drastic, and that's exactly what he delivered. When I went in for my follow-up, the waiting room was full of other girls who had also had nose jobs, and I didn't see a single one that looked remotely similar to mine. One girl had this tiny little nose that looked so unnatural and, frankly, pretty ugly, though clearly that's what she asked for. Another had one that was all pointy—again, super unattractive in my opinion. But then there was a third girl with a truly beautiful, completely natural-looking nose. It really all comes down to the patient. It depends on whether they actually have specific desires or if they just completely surrender control to the surgeon. Usually, when people do that, they end up with those tiny, upturned noses that are nowhere near being aesthetically pleasing...

What I meant was that they often create beautiful noses that just look totally out of place on the face...
By the way, does anyone remember the name of that ENT specialist from the area? You know, the one who's practically a sculptor...

Does anyone know what this is or how to treat it?

Thanks!

Yeah, looks like a fungal infection to me..
It's a bit tough to swallow when you think about skin-to-skin contact... usually, it spreads through shared wet towels, borrowing clothes, public pools, or any damp environment..
Your best bet is to grab some Lotrimin spray, especially if it's spread to your back
. It makes reaching those awkward spots a lot easier...
Once the treatment is done, maybe hit a tanning bed a few times to soak it up... also, change your sheets constantly and make sure you iron everything—all your clothes—just to disinfect them...
And once a month, take a bath and scrub down with a coarse towel.. PREVENTION..
They have a habit of coming back; once you get them, they tend to resurface... these fungi actually thrive on sweat, so you really need to shower immediately after any kind of physical activity...
Thinking about getting rhinoplasty
I was wondering if anyone here knows an ENT specialist based out of Washington, D.C., who also happens to be a sculptor
If you know his name, please let me know
He performs aesthetic procedures through insurance, so it costs next to nothing
On the plus side, since he actually specializes in this field, there’s less risk of him messing up my breathing... and another perk is the sculpting background. It makes sense that he’d have an eye for aesthetics and could actually draft the nose I'm looking for
Unlike Glumicic, who I hear just gives everyone the exact same nose

If anyone can identify who this is, please reach out
