Best offshore sportsbooks for online betting? in Betting Forum ·
Bradley Cox5 said:Regarding online deposits and withdrawals—I’ve been using http://www.payingsafer.com for quite some time now, and I can genuinely recommend them!

As for the sportsbooks—I feel compelled to emphasize this: ABSOLUTELY NO BETMGM!!!
You’ll need about as much luck trying to get your money out of them as you do winning your actual bets. They will find the slightest discrepancy in your ID or your profile data just to justify closing your account. Just browse the forums for a moment and you'll see there have been endless issues with them. Furthermore, if you happen to be lucky enough to actually receive a payout, it takes an absolute eternity!

I am inclined to agree. They are nothing short of thieves—I had a rather unsettling incident myself. Barely three minutes after my bet hit and the funds landed in my account, I immediately withdrew them to my card (using $67). To my utter bewilderment, perhaps two minutes after initiating that withdrawal, my balance sat at $67 (??). I checked my transaction history only to find they had reversed my winnings—reason unspecified. The cash had already cleared into my checking account, and I had already withdrawn it. A week later, the balance sitting in my account is still $73.
Click—close account. ☕

Since then, I’ve stuck with DraftKings and haven't had any grievances. The interface is straightforward, payouts are swift, there are no commissions, the minimum withdrawal is $10, and the selection is broader ☕
My only regret is that I didn't grab the maximum bonus 😠

User, I have to admit one thing to you—you’ve always rubbed me the wrong way—but with all your posts in this thread, I find myself agreeing with you completely, head to toe. 👍

Michael Lee4, Reddit is the very first thing I type into my browser after opening Mozilla, and I read through every single thread in the Automobiles section daily, from the first post to the last, regardless of the subject matter. Based on my post count, one might assume I'm relatively new here, but I was a frequent lurker long before I ever registered. It is quite evident that you look down on new users, an attitude I have personally experienced. Once I realized how things operate around here, I simply gave up on participating actively.
The way you boss people around here is, frankly, ridiculous; I am merely echoing what has been said previously—if your approach to problem-solving were different, everything would be different. Less arrogance, less condescension, less sarcasm, and less eye-rolling 🙄 .
No matter how you slice it, there will always be personal insults, stupid threads, comments, and kids showing up just to mock people... warn them, penalize them, ban them... just change your approach.

Just sit around until the year ended only to land himself in some backmarker midfield team? The guy isn't an idiot. If anyone deserves to be called foolish, it’s Renault; making a blunder like that essentially cost them a World Championship for a whole season.

Listen to this guy... Honestly, if there was any mistake made here, it was Alonso's decision to leave. Had he stayed, he likely would have secured the title again next season too. 🙄
Then again, once you catch the scent of big money, it’s hard to resist—it reminds me of when Shevchenko made that move to Chelsea...
As for all that talk about Renault exiting Formula 1, most of that was just rumors and hearsay... 🙄

Edward Howard2 said:it's all well and good, but the point is—your personal feelings toward Alonso shouldn't color your objective judgment regarding whether his moves on the track were actually justified 🙄

Let's review material:
My issue—and I am referring to the sentiment expressed in the previous post rather than that specific maneuver during the race—is that he ought to be a decent human being first, and a driver second.

Just before entering turn 12.
Which exit are we even talking about?

Please—tell me how he could have possibly squeezed through when those drivers on the right were practically bumper-to-bumper? They had him boxed in the moment he attempted that cut; his only real option was to slam on the brakes, though I suspect if he had, Pike would have absolutely flattened him. 🙄
As for profiting from the move... eleven drivers were ahead of him before the cut (and there are plenty more missing from this shot) and eleven drivers remained ahead of him after the maneuver. 🙂
Anything else?🤷

Oh, please. 😵
The man could have made it through—he wouldn't have lost his mind just because he missed someone when he was already trapped... but sure, according to your logic, he had to be standing perfectly still just so Pike wouldn't run him over... 🙄
Think about how many times we saw them jostling in the first corner during the season where nobody even touched one another, yet they caused more drama than this entire situation combined. Come on, don't talk nonsense.
You can tell me there were eleven cars ahead of him after the chicane if you want, but I highly doubt it—that footage from the ESPN broadcast mysteriously vanished... interesting.
Personally, what bothers me is that he ought to be a human being first and a driver second—and I am not referring to that specific move on track, but rather the sentiment expressed in the previous post—which is why I dislike him. That is simply my personal take.
Let him languish for a while in that mediocre Renault; it'll bring him back down to earth. Perhaps a little reality check will quiet that loud, "passionate" temperament of his. ☕

I rarely find myself diving this deep into these kinds of debates, but since the floor is open, I might as well join in. 😵

Edward Howard2 said:Fine, if you really want to nitpick my wording... there weren't situations quite like this at Monza because they started behind the Safety car... 🙄

Pike was cutting it less tight, but take a look at this photo—pay close attention to the BMW (Nick Heidfeld), who cuts the chicane with all four wheels before Lewis Hamilton even gets there. 🤣

Also, one should note how many cars Lewis Hamilton had positioned to his right and behind him; he simply couldn't have avoided the cut, because any other move—staying straight, swerving right, or braking hard—would have resulted in damage to his own car and likely at least one other, if not more. Therefore, Lewis Hamilton’s maneuver was entirely justified, just as Nick Heidfeld's would have been, had he not collided with Vettel by cutting the chicane.
But I suppose the important thing is that Lewis Hamilton is nothing but a thorn in your side 🤣
It seems unlikely that you're viewing him as a threat to your favorite in the fight for this year's title based solely on this single win, isn't it?

Just look at the line Lewis Hamilton takes entering the chicane... it would have been ideal if he had stayed strictly on the track, yet he still would have made it through—those drivers behind him aren't blind, nor are they stupid. But no matter, let's just cut the corner and pretend it doesn't matter... 🙄
And in fairness, Nick Heidfeld did go over it, though it's clear he didn't actually gain an advantage from doing so.

YES, Lewis Hamilton is a thorn in my side... though I don't consider him a threat right now; I've always supported the chemistry of the team, following him since his Sauber days—and for a brief period, I followed Button back when Honda was actually producing something worthwhile.
What I mean is, the man is obnoxious to the point of physical discomfort—from that previously mentioned nervous waving at other drivers, to the whining in front of the cameras, down to signing that McLaren contract behind Flavio Briatore's back. It was disgraceful.
I truly cannot fathom what went wrong for him during his time at Ford—a two-time world champion...
And lo and behold, he went right back to Flavio, tail between his legs.

And again... YES, Lewis Hamilton is a thorn in my side.

Edward Howard2 said:It seems you failed to grasp the point I was attempting to make—which I had already emphasized in my previous response to ensure clarity--🤣
Let me reiterate for the sake of absolute certainty... this occurs in virtually every single race. No one is ever penalized, nor are they forced to surrender a position for cutting through those first two chicanes immediately following the start; it is never even subjected to an investigation.

P.S. Is that BMW cutting right behind Fernando Alonso not bothering you at all?🙄

Oh, come now—"every single race"? Really?
🙄
If that were actually the case, why don't we just see everyone cutting that chicane then? 🙄
Clearly, everyone else is incompetent while Fernando Alonso is the sole genius in the field...
You can claim he’s a master strategist—his opening move was clearly brilliant—but the car cutting the chicane directly behind him wasn't even half as aggressive as his own maneuver... and incidentally, it was Piquet's Renault, not a BMW, so it stands to reason; they're running with the same crew.🙄

Yeah, he cut the chicane

but we're talking about the START of the race

You've got ten cars all trying to squeeze through that chicane—there simply isn't enough room for everyone

We see this exact same thing at every single race, yet nobody ever gets penalized for it 🙏

Of course there won't be a penalty for cutting the chicane if, by exiting the corner, he allows the driver he was actually attacking to pass—essentially, he’d be punished for something he didn't even do... 🙄
It was chaotic and difficult to judge, but I find it baffling that they didn't at least put that controversial situation under investigation...
The funniest part for me is how Blazic always describes Fernando Alonso as "temperamental"🙄 I wonder why, truly... it must be because of that famous instance where he waved from his car at the driver he'd been stuck behind for several laps and couldn't overtake. Very temperamental indeed.🙄

Morgan Murphy7 said:It’s all well and good to call him a complete idiot—that part is pretty much common knowledge at this point.

But the fact that he happens to be the best driver in Formula 1 right now is a reality that more and more people are forced to acknowledge. ☕

I won't ever live that down. I mean, seriously—you're going to tell a seven-time World Champion that the FIA should just go easy on him? 🙄 This guy was already out there winning races while Fernando Alonso was still learning how to ride a bicycle...

Gary Palmer8 said:Wasn't there that instance where he grabbed an illegal position by cutting the chicane?

Give it to the king 🙏

Whenever I recall how much he whined back during the Schumacher era—his final season, specifically—claiming the FIA was out to get him, or suggesting they were being far too lenient with "Schumi" after this guy beat him three times straight...

🙄
