Soccer Club Kits, Vol. 1 in Soccer ·
Scott Wood84 said:Why on earth would anyone actually want to buy that? 🤷

Well, I suppose they might be into that whole traditional Chinese medicine scene...🤷

I see that everything has burned down 🙏

I mean, honestly, if mellowowl38 was actually the one who put this together 🤣🤣🤣🤣

EDIT: The collection features this special commemorative crest, and it has these two stars on it... each one is supposed to represent ten championship titles won between 1911 and 2011.

aaaaaa 🤣

🤣🤣🤣🤣

blueheron5 said:Those Stars represent Champions League wins, not domestic league titles. I mean, imagine if clubs started adding stars for every single trophy they won locally... it would be ridiculous...

I wonder what it would even look like if AC Milan started adding stars for every single Champions League title they grabbed along the way...😕

Well, my own sense is that this jersey has actually been around for a little more than two months now...🤷

Let’s just hold out for the official announcement... I'm having a hard time believing this is actually the new kit 🤦

So, this is the away kit, and it’s pretty much common knowledge at this point—it’s been about two months since the rumors started swirling that this would be our new look. We still haven't seen the home kit yet, but from everything I'm hearing, it looks like it might be an absolute disaster...🤣🤣

I honestly have this feeling that Inter Milan will be the icing on the cake at the very end...🤣🤣🤣

He picked up an Inter Umbro collection from the 1993/94 season—back when Dennis Bergkamp and Alfonso Sosa were the stars. ☕

👍

I actually have an Umbro jersey from the 97-98 season myself, and you know, it was actually made in England ☕
Those were the real deal, the kind of quality you just don't see anymore... even after wearing mine for thirteen years, it honestly still looks brand new, whereas all this modern junk they sell us today? You wash it twice and it’s basically ready for the trash bin 🤮

nothing at all

I’m really digging this cut; hopefully, it matches what teams like France or Mexico are wearing on the world stage right now. Plus, having Fly Emirates on there looks much cleaner than Bwin, especially with those wide stripes.

I'm particularly eager to see the Juve kit. It seems identical to Inter's, but all I can find online are just basic sketches so far.

Neither the Juventus nor the Inter home rosters have been officially released yet...

Carol Lewis said:honestly, if you ask me, I suspect it’s more about trying to expand their market reach over in East Asia...🙂

though, honestly, trying to figure out how Inter Milan's snake logo is going to play in China... that's where things get truly surreal...🤣

I mean, what on earth is Nike even thinking lately...🤣🤣
Soccer Club Kits, Vol. 1 in Soccer ·
This looks like it might be the home kit, though I have a feeling we’re going to see plenty of other clubs rocking a similar look from Nike soon... if my memory serves me right, I think Juventus might be heading in this exact same direction with their color combo too🤷

Matthew Anderson4 said:Alright, regarding this Ambrosian stuff, check out that transfer in the 79th minute. Those two 😁
aren't even close. It looks more like the Sampdoria crest 🙂

Just to clear things up here, we aren't looking at every single crest Inter Miami CF has ever used, since there are also various patches and badges included in the mix

First, we have the original one from the founding years, followed by these three representing the Ambrosian period (spanning roughly 1828-29, 29-32, and 35-45)... then comes the version from 45-60, followed by the 1960-79 design, which is where that snake logo appears—the only one that truly stands out from the rest 😁. After that, we have these final two, including the current primary crest which shares some similarities with the standard version
.
So, essentially, they all share a similar lineage, except for that snake emblem

Matthew Anderson4 said:Not really an expert here, but why’d they go through such a massive redesign with their crest?

The three that really stand out from the rest are from that era when Inter Miami CF was forced to change its name to Ambrosian Inter during the Mussolini years... those other versions aren't quite as different, I suppose...🤷
