Online forums have become a type of democratic institution within the virtual world; I respect the balance of moderation and oversight—which you handle—alongside the flexibility to adapt and correct course whenever the need arises.

I went back to review the rules—first the general guidelines, and then the specific ones over on ZUD.
Aside from the technical stuff, everything else basically boils down to: no hate speech, keep your communication polite, don't do this or that... honestly, I'm feeling pretty lost, especially regarding that part where they say: don't assume the moderators have favorites.
Once again, I sat through their explanations, which just seemed to get more tangled and convoluted as they tried to force them to align with the actual rules.
We’ve reached a point where they might actually realize how useless this whole process is, but stubbornness gets in the way because they're too busy protecting their own status. GREATNESS LIES IN ADMITTING YOU WERE WRONG.

The Lord and I have been trying to convince these rogue moderators that this forum actually exists for one reason: ADVERTISING REVENUE.
If that’s the case, I say we start reaching out directly to the companies currently running ads here. Open up some new email threads and hit them with our complaints; maybe an actual owner will finally take notice of what's going on behind the scenes.

Even if things turn out however they may, since everything here ultimately depends on individual whims thanks to such subjective judging.
The thread we were assigned is meant to be short-lived and has a certain impulsive charm, but these current topics are far from brief; it feels like they used a bit of extra "chatter" as an excuse to weed people out.

The internet and online forums ought to function like ancient Greek agoras, where we can all act as free citizens. Just look at the reactions you've been getting lately; people are still acting completely disconnected from reality.
The constant bickering was a huge issue just a week ago and then it suddenly stopped—don't try to dodge the fact that it happened.
When I browse other sites, all I see is garbage: insults and blatant attacks everywhere. Here, most of us have already worked through things by simply defending our own unique perspectives and views.

Michelle Wilson8, I found myself shouting into the void just like you did (about two feet underground over there), but some of these posts are just gone. I have one question for the admins and those in charge: DO YOU HAVE PERSONAL ISSUES THAT MADE YOU SEE TOO MUCH OF YOURSELVES IN THESE DELETED GROUPS, SO YOU JUST WIPED THEM OUT TO AVOID READING THEM?
