So, I’m definitely gonna give my doctor a call tomorrow to get an appointment on the books. I'm 22, and honestly, after falling down a massive rabbit hole of online research, everything points toward it being Seborrhea. But since I'm obviously no medical expert, I figured I shouldn't go in there acting like I've already diagnosed myself.
Yeah, there’s definitely some redness and peeling going on. It hasn't lasted more than four days, though. I haven't switched up my shampoo or conditioner lately, so I'm pretty sure that isn't what's triggering it. I've been trying to keep my hands off my head, but honestly, my scalp has felt like it's literally on fire all day today. I'm also dealing with some issues on my face in the T-zone, and now I've even got acne popping up on my shoulders. I've been tackling those with a cleanser, and for the last four days, I've been doing a bit of an exfoliation routine. Basically, I have this 3-in-1 stuff that acts like a scrub if you leave it on for a minute, which has actually been helping quite a bit.
Hopefully I’m posting this in the right spot. I’m 22 and currently grinding through college. For the last four days, my scalp has been driving me absolutely insane with this intense itching. I’ve actually scratched myself raw to the point where I have little sores forming, which is a total first for me. To make matters worse, my period started two days ago, and I dealt with the most brutal migraine of my life, so I basically spent the entire day glued to my bed. On top of all that, I’ve been under some pretty heavy stress over the last couple of weeks. It’s funny because over the past year, I actually totally overhauled my lifestyle—stopped rushing around like a maniac and started eating way better—which actually made those migraines, which used to hit me 2 or 3 times a week, disappear completely. So now I'm wondering, is my body basically throwing up a red flag telling me to slow down? Is this just my system reacting to the stress? And does anyone have advice on how to deal with these scratches?
