Itchy scalp help! in Health ·
Tyler James5 said:It’s got glucocorticoids (heavy-duty steroids) plus salicylic acid (to strip away those dry flakes)—so it hits hard and fast, but you definitely can't use it long-term. The side effects can be pretty intense. You could potentially cause permanent skin damage if you aren't careful. Please, please be cautious. Read the instructions that come with the medication and actually follow them.

Yeah, I agree. Read the instructions. You can even find the info for Belupo Belosalic online. My experience with this cream was solid—the symptoms cleared up after just one use, so I don't even need it anymore. I only applied it twice over the course of a month and it worked. Using it more often is probably healthier, but check with a doctor on that. You really should talk to a physician since you need a prescription anyway; don't go overboard with the application. I'm happy with it because I didn't have to slather it on constantly and risk wrecking my skin. There might be better options out there, but for now, my scalp is fine once I wash it. It's worth trying different things, just be careful and talk to a doctor first because that flaking is seriously unbearable. Maybe it helps someone else...

Hey, so I was dealing with this constant scalp itch and heavy flaking—not just light dandruff, but actual chunks of skin. Nothing worked, especially not any random drugstore shampoo.
But then, by total accident, I tried some prescription Belosalic from Belupo, and honestly, it cleared everything right up. I’m stoked because the second my hair dried after washing, the irritation would usually come crawling back. Now, I just dab it on my scalp maybe once a month if I feel it coming on, and I'm good. Or I'll just hit the spots that itch, let it sit for a few hours, and wash it out. Works perfectly. Just wanted to share since I spent forever scouring forums and could never find anyone talking about this specific cream. Fair warning: it’s greasy as hell, but it works. It even kills the redness and rashes I used to get. The label says it has stuff specifically for skin scaling. For me, this is the only thing that actually solved the problem for good.
