The Porsche Carrera Cup is about to kick off right now, and wouldn't you know it... not a single drop of rain in sight.

steelmaker83 said:Yeah, he’s matured. And you're right—there's none of that finger-pointing where someone claims "it was the team" or whatever typical excuse Fernando Alonso would use. He's becoming the real deal. Honestly, once Alonso moves on, I think I'll be rooting for him.

He’s been my favorite for ages. Look, Vettel can be a bit much, Alonso is a total crybaby, and Kimi would be way higher up my list if his "I don't give a damn" attitude wasn't so incredibly dialed in.

Messing around with cars on the starting grid and messing around in the DRS zone.🤣

Total chaos at Indianapolis Motor Speedway:
2011
2012

And that's how it goes. It’s been a while since things actually felt real.😍

The only real overtake of Alonso's worth seeing on track is... This is it. And that’s what happens when you mess up a start like Webber did. Another disaster.🤦
Everything else is just fake. It’s literally nothing but Ferrari's raw speed at the start and their advantage in the DRS zone.

The race winner? I mean, obviously. That's common sense.😍

It definitely wasn't Alonso. Long before him, it would've been Ricciardo or Button. ☕
Honestly, I’ve never been impressed by these mediocre drivers. If you can't qualify better than fifth on a car that's capable of grabbing pole, don't expect me to care.🤣

Man, Ljubimac still hasn't managed to snag a win at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, but hey, at least he’s finally closing the gap on Massa in the standings.😁

Who knows? Maybe one day someone actually tops his stats.🤣

Man, when you drop a post without a single emoji, people are going to start thinking I actually believe Sebastian Vettel is better than Fernando Alonso. 😉
David Anderson72 said:Exactly. No rain, no massive pile-ups, no scenery... just nothing.😢

The qualifying sessions were so incredible that the race was just as much of a blast.🙂
Elizabeth Mendoza said:If anyone ever asks me what watching Formula 1 on this site is actually like, I’d just tell them one thing: you see a single post and you think you know the whole story, but you haven't seen anything yet.

FERNANDO 🙏, the Maestro 🙏, oh Boužeeeeeeeeee 🙏, total chaos 🙏

Just wait until the next big race weekend rolls around; then you'll realize how totally useless Obrvan really is compared to Finger. 😬
Look, there's no denying Alonso is a beast, he’s incredible, but this forum's fan club is just a total mess— 🙏
Can we please move past the endless praise already? 🍿
Daniel James8 said:And there it is again... the officiating is a joke...

Ugh, here we go. Now he’s actually getting annoyed by this whole David Coulthard thing? That’s almost cute, isn't it? 🙄
And there it is again... the officiating is a joke...
Sky is out there claiming you actually stepped on him
I’m rooting for Zalons to snag at least a podium finish in this race, if only so I can sit back and enjoy reading comments like:
"Man, look at how effortlessly he sips through that straw..." 😁

I was actually going to ask if Prsta-Plavušan dyed his hair... or what? 🤷

Edit: got my answers, and one for Prsta-Plavušan: 🙂

I just heard them on Sky saying this hasn't happened in the last 64 races.

Jason Campbell70 said:Not really. ☕Just a little bit.

Look, he grabbed pole position, nobody even breathed down his neck for all 70 laps, and he only got lapped by four drivers. Is that "a little"? Seriously?

A finger slipped and just like that, we’ve only got five left in the same lap...

You weren't kidding; the USA and Belgium are usually top-tier tracks, but today? Today is nothing more than a glorified lullaby...

I mean, who knows if Alonso even laid eyes on Kimi out there? And as for Grožđan, he’s definitely eating a penalty for breakfast. That much is a sure thing.
