It’s all about how you mix things up. Nostalgia covers everything from old goals to the players themselves, but personally, I don't think they should be lumped together—it just gets lost in a sea of random posts. Plus, focusing on "legends" feels weird when it's really just about current guys like Inzaghi or Ruud retiring this year.
There’ll be a dedicated nostalgia thread in about twenty days.☕
Fine, I tried making it work, it didn't, so whatever. Peace out.
Carol Lewis said:It’s just not quite the same thing, really... when we dive into nostalgia, we're mostly just reminiscing about everything tied to those different eras from way back when, whereas this thread is more about keeping up with the current departures of all these football legends
But once they actually leave, they become nostalgia. They move into history, and that's when you start remembering them.
Quick question for the mods—is there any reason we can't just merge these two threads? They're basically covering the exact same ground 🤷.

That hideous beige stripe totally ruined a perfectly good jersey.

Last week's game and even this upcoming one against General Motors? Honestly, there's just no comparison. Nothing else even comes close.

The new local drop is already out. Honestly, the yellow version will probably end up being the runner-up, but there's no way this blue one is coming in third.

Haven't tracked it down yet, but I'll drop it here if I stumble upon it.

Regarding Wolfsburg, I seem to remember they had kits pretty similar to this new one back during that 98/02 stretch.

Honestly, one of the few Puma kits I actually don't hate.

The O.M. away kit looks just like this year's—basically some fancy patterned sweater.

Don't thank me, I couldn't be bothered to dig through all that myself.

I'm not 100% sure, but I'm pretty positive someone already mentioned on here that their stuff is total junk. Maybe scroll back through the thread a bit... though, mind you, I can't be certain it's this exact same site.

That PSG one looks pretty solid. I haven't been able to track it down anywhere though—it’s like there hasn't even been a teaser or an announcement for the new jersey yet.

I mean, it's such an odd color choice... for a men's football team. Then again, pink isn't inherently "feminine." That's just some outdated, forced way of thinking—like how people act about blue being a "man's color" or whatever. Just nonsense.
Not totally sure, but honestly, I don't think there's some deep backstory. It feels more like once their current kit supplier took over, they just rolled out this combo because it sold well enough.
Then they figured they'd lean into it a bit more with that pink shade, and boom, here we are.
