MLS 2022/23 Season: Part 2 in Soccer ·
goldentinker8 said:Can you believe there were actually fifty people showing up just to say hi to Let 3, and honestly, half of them were probably reporters or their inner circle anyway, yet here we are with everyone on this thread obsessing over how the welcome went down! 🤣

And we're absolutely crushing it in the stats department ☕

Oh, here we go... they were just itching to drop those tired old tropes about lazy coastal folks living off short-term rentals and overcharging tourists. And then, on Monday, they decide to come after innocent kids by dragging them into these heated debates...

They’ve got the ocean and now they’re picking on our children—boo hoo... meanwhile, we’re out here breathing actual fresh air and living lives nothing like those sheltered desert dwellers.

They might as well just scrap the penalty altogether. This whole thing is a joke—it makes zero sense.

You guys have lost your minds... seriously, how can anyone take Anthony Sanders95 seriously? The guy is just some weird little mutation—not even a monster, just a tiny little mouse.

@goldentinker8

Might makes right.

Whether people want to admit it or not—discrimination or none—Hajduk pulls the biggest crowds, period.
Now, those folks from the West Coast can stick their noses in wherever they want, but let’s be real: whenever this team plays, the stands are packed way tighter than any other club in the league.

As established veterans of the American fan scene—and since we're clearly the undisputed kings of stats and analysis here—don't let them try to shove some "local" version of the truth down your throats.

No matter how much you hate the club, I wouldn't wish being stuck in a place like Rijeka on anyone.
You aren't even fit to step foot in a stadium like Grobnik.

Aaron Sanders3 said:Look, you guys fill your own stadium, and honestly, credit where credit is due—that's impressive. But you aren't filling everyone else's. There aren't any bans or restrictions on attendance when we travel to away games compared to when the big-name clubs come to town.

Look at this guy... just straight-up lying through his teeth.

goldentinker8 said:So basically, you and I are just fundamentally incapable of seeing eye to eye, even if we actually tried to make it happen, right? 🤣 👍

See? Told you we were on the same page. 🤣

goldentinker8 said:I mean, the average would look way better for the home team, especially if we factor in what the local news is reporting... Even by a couple of points, and honestly, that’s totally fine, we just shouldn't go around building these massive myths based on it, right? 😉

Take a look at these juniors and then come back... they played like absolute garbage in the 90th minute.
Those little guys are playing out of their minds lately. Is this some kind of special treatment for that powerhouse Jerk Leka or what?

Look, fans, numbers, myths... what’s left to say? You can try to play down the facts all you want—seriously, go ahead—but the reality doesn't change. It’s an undeniable fact: when it comes to pure viewership, whether they're playing at home, on the road, or just looking at the combined totals—it doesn't matter how you slice it—Hajduk is the most watched club out there. And we aren't talking about a handful of people here, either—we're talking tons.

I guess we’ll just keep going in circles—you’ll keep calling them myths, and I’ll keep insisting that everyone else is actually watching color TV.

goldentinker8 said:Are you actually serious right now? Like, do you even have a shred of dignity left after typing that out? Seriously, I am sitting here absolutely floored! How can someone just hit "send" on something like that without feeling an immediate wave of pure embarrassment washing over them? It’s honestly wild to me!

Just go ahead then—keep going. You know exactly what I wrote. You aren't stupid, but you're acting like it just to be difficult.
MLS 2022/23 Season: Part 2 in Soccer ·
goldentinker8 said:Man, you really went on a whole marathon writing all that for nothing, so here's your little reality check! 🤣

The LA Lakers pulled in 7,640 fans
The Boston Celtics brought out 5,920 people

Anything else you hear is just old-school Southern mythmaking from people who can't handle the facts! 👍

And isn't it embarrassing to even type something like that?

It’ll be more of that same old nonsense—analyzing percentages based on age, gender, and race just to force the narrative that Rijeka fans are the greatest on the planet.

Then comes the lecture about how people in small towns are all secretly rooting for Zadar, Šibenik, or El Paso... as if they're some kind of revolutionary movement fighting against Hajduk and Split.

And to wrap it all up, they’ll always have that tired little pamphlet ready about "defending the homeland" and bragging about their total number of away games.

Then there’s the blatant lying—claiming people are banned from buying tickets because they're from another county, or that visiting fans get harassed everywhere they go. They'll swear the fans are kept in literal cages at the stadium, or that if you even glance at a Blue supporter near the grounds, you'll end up waking up in a police station.

Screw you guys—you're just... well, let's call you Rijeka locals. You really think you're the best, don't you? Just the absolute best.

P.s
Don't forget to throw in some random insult or something at the end.

Whether you're in a tiny town or a massive metro area, Hajduk is the only reason people actually bother showing up to the stadium.
Then you’ve got these geniuses running the show at Osijek, Sibenik, Belupo... folks who actually ban residents from other states from buying tickets.
And they claim it's all perfectly legal—as if that makes it okay.

What kind of "football development" is this? What kind of stadium culture are we building when the top clubs are actively trying to drive crowds away?
Complaining about crumbling infrastructure while basically terrorizing the fans—it's all just a pathetic joke.

Until the end of the season:

I don't know what to tell you about Gorica. It’s just another suburb on the outskirts of the metro area. Nothing special there.:
Locomotive.
I don't know what to tell you. Just Slaven.
California.
I'm not sure what you're getting at with that. If you're looking for information on a specific American city, just say so.
The big club in town.

San Francisco:
California.
I don't know what you're getting at with that.
The way things are going with the big club lately... just frustrating to watch.
Osijek*

Domestic matches.

Obviously, Gorica is the safer bet here since they’ve got that big game coming up on Monday. Everything else is pretty much a toss-up, though Gorica feels like an easier play. That said, Šibenik might actually have an edge if they end up facing some rested teams in their final two matches.

You think the hardcore fans are actually going to demand the front office field a squad of high schoolers? Please.

Half of San Diego is acting all butt-hurt over some tired joke about a donut, to the point where it even made the local news. As long as you guys keep obsessing over petty stuff like that, people are gonna keep making fun of you—and honestly, they deserve it.
It’s like watching some dysfunctional family throwing a tantrum over a pastry meant for the juniors, who aren't even kids anymore.

You must be from somewhere way up north if you're this incredibly dense when it comes to irony and actual humor.

Those damn idiots really just stabbed him in the back... left us with absolutely nothing to argue against.
I refuse to believe these guys are actually from Miami—they’re definitely just passing through from Atlanta.🕺

What kind of pathetic little club and festival is this?
We can save all those cheap shots and petty insults for the forums and the tabloids

Without some real, gritty antagonism, there’s just no football at all

So I went ahead and played the naive fool, trying to figure out what on earth is going on with this absolute clown who can't stop shooting blanks. I see hiddencyclist112 has sent an envoy—I assume there’s some logic there. He’s a smart guy, usually pretty level-headed.
But then, what do we have here? Honestly, who gives a damn what some guy with way too much free time posts on Twitter?

The whole group is acting like they're in sixth grade—just a bunch of low-level noise and mindless insults. Is it even possible that nobody has anything intelligent left to say?
I mean, what kind of sane adult spends their time posting on Twitter and coming up with these childish little vendettas?
And now I see he’s actually apologizing? Good grief, what a joke.
Even LJPV got worked up over this.🤦

Now reasonable people are just checking out. If I’m reading the situation right, it looks like the entire country is being held hostage by nothing but petty nonsense and insults.

I can't tell anymore what's irony and what's actual reality... everything has just drifted into this massive gray area.
