All these sites have codes, either for first orders or just some current ones running. I guess you should probably check if you can stack any codes before you actually hit buy.
If you're a little short in your cart to hit free shipping or meet a discount threshold, and you're down for local pickup in the NYC area or somewhere nearby, feel free to hit me up. I always kind of enjoy digging through the sale sections.
Good luck hunting. 🙂

I tried ordering a couple of tees from their website, but my PayPal wouldn't go through for some reason... so I just hit the "pay upfront" option?? And honestly, they haven't even sent me an update yet. 🙄

If you're looking for plus sizes, or just generally better stuff, the one in the West Side mall was probably my go-to. It’s got two floors, so there's way more variety. Plus, there's a decent-sized Target right above the grocery store near downtown if you're in that area.
There's also that spot over by King Cross where you can find both Target and Nkd with a good plus-size section.

Megan Grant20 said:Has anyone here ordered from the Violeta Mango web shop? What’s your experience been like with their sizing? I’m struggling a bit with their numbers since I've never tried anything from them before and they don't have a standard size chart...

I've ordered from them before. For sweaters, you kind of just have to look at how they fit the model. T-shirts and button-downs run about a size smaller than, say, what you'd grab at Old Navy. Like, if it says 50, it's probably more like a 48. Also, the sleeves on the shirts are pretty tight around the upper arm. Pants are similar—they run small—though I only ever grabbed jeggings or leggings. The sizes listed seem to be for the biggest ones they carry, like 52 or 54, so I'm not sure about the smaller stuff. Quality-wise, the pants and tops are okay, just average I guess, but honestly, the sweaters were a total letdown.

Linda Ward312 said:Need some advice. I usually rock a size 46/48 top and a 44 in pants (C&A sizing).
My main issue is my midsection 😢 plus I'm on the shorter side, about 5'5".
What kind of dress cut would actually look good on me?

Sounds like you might have an apple shape. I’m basically that type too, though I usually just size up. For me, empire waist dresses always work best—where the waistline starts right under the bust. Maybe nothing too long, maybe just hitting below the knee. You probably want a thicker fabric so it actually holds that shape. Honestly, you don't sound like you're in a bad spot, so you should be able to find something at any mall. Just go in, try stuff on, and you might be surprised.

So, did you guys notice? C&A started delivering here recently too, they even have their own dedicated .eu page now.
Also, might be worth swinging by NKD; they’ve got some plus-size stuff in stock. Usually, whatever they show online is available in the actual store—it's some Laura Torelli line, I think.

copperfox172 said:coppertinker13, which bras are you getting? Got a link? Thanks.

I have a few different kinds, but honestly, these ones were the best for me https://www.bonprix.at/produkt/t-shi...94045816#image
They've got a high cotton content, and they hold everything in place—I'd go as far as saying they fit almost like sports bras, at least for my size. I usually float between a B and C cup, maybe a 40 depending on the cut, but I grabbed this one in a B because a C would probably be way too big. The band width seems pretty spot on for the size, though maybe a tiny bit tighter than other brands in that range. I don't know how larger cup sizes would work, but most items have reviews where you can pick your size and see how things fit others... you just gotta be able to read German, I guess. Just ordered some new ones, so if anyone's curious, I can compare them once they show up.😉

Honestly, those Bonprix bras have been total lifesavers for me. Once I realized eKupi wasn't going to carry them anymore, I had to grab everything I could from their stock.
So, I actually just went ahead and ordered two more from the Austrian Bonprix site.
I’m getting them through this user, ruggedgardener37—I've used her service a few times now and she's been amazing, so I'd definitely recommend her to anyone. 👍
It’s just such a massive pain trying to find a decent bra that doesn't cost an absolute fortune.

ironsurfer10 said:Hey ladies, I wanted to say a huge thanks to @coppertinker13 for recommending this group for online shopping.
If anyone ever needs help ordering something from a site that ships to places like Austria or Canada (think Bonprix, Marks & Spencer UK/EU, or Asda George...), please feel free to shoot me a private message. 😉

No worries! 🙂
Honestly, I’m pretty stoked. Ordered my stuff on June 21st, it showed up by the 30th, and we did the hand-off on July 3rd just like we planned. It was actually faster than when I used to order through Bonprix. I guess I’ve got nothing but good things to say about this place. 👍
Man, I'm already scrolling through all these online shops in Austria. I see there's C&A, then Otto, plus some Sieh-an place that carries a ton of stuff, and they've got Universal, Meyer-Mode, and whatnot.
I'll definitely be ordering again.
Fashion for curvy girls in Fashion ·
Hey ladies!
I really wanted to give a shout-out to our fellow member ironsurfer10.
So, I was basically bugging my cousin about how much I missed ordering from BonPrix, and she ended up posting an ad looking for someone to help out with shipping from the BonPrix US and Canadian sites. That’s when ironsurfer10 reached out.
We worked out a deal for an order from their main site. Honestly, I have nothing but good things to say—communication was super clear, easy, and fast, and you can totally negotiate the service fee.
The package should be here in maybe two weeks, which is pretty much how long it took me when I used to order through the local outlets. I’ll probably check back in once I actually grab the box, but so far, so good! 👍

On another note, I’ve been thinking about picking up some stuff from Takko. But man, the deals on their premium line in-store are just a joke. The last couple of times I popped in, I found this tiny corner with half-empty shelves and just a bunch of empty hangers hanging underneath, even though their website claims they’re fully stocked. It's such a lie! I already told myself I wasn't stepping foot in that Takko ever again, and then, well, I went right back. 😵

I am officially switching to online shopping for everything!

jadecrane28 said:Here’s some info for those who were asking—the s.oliver.eu site actually has a specific line for fuller figures called Triangle, and they ship directly to the States 🙂 Also, just a heads-up, the Lindex store carries larger sizes too

Nice, and from what I can see, shipping isn't even that bad—just 5 bucks. Thank God they don't do cash on delivery, or I’d probably end up messing something up.🤦

I actually picked up two tees and a button-down from their plus-size line a few years back. They weren't cheap, and while the shirt was alright—kind of mid—the tees were pretty rough. The color washed out almost immediately, and they stretched wide but shrunk short. Total mess.👎
Maybe the quality's better now? Who knows.

Anyway, I'm thinking about selling some stuff I have lying around. It's mostly stuff I ordered online that didn't fit right, so it's never really been worn. Just washed it and tucked it away in the closet... because, you know, maybe I'll lose weight, or god forbid, gain it. It goes how it goes.😵
Since I've never really sold anything or bought stuff this way before, I'm kind of lost on where to even post this. If you guys have any tips, let me know. I'm looking at US sizes 18/20, depending on the cut.

Just wanted to mention that on eKupi there’s actually a decent amount of stuff for us plus-size girls. They carry brands like Blanche Porte and Venca alongside Bonprix—it’s basically that catalog-style shopping where they stock bigger sizes. A lot of it is on sale right now, too. There are seriously tons of bras in every size imaginable. Just... please, for the love of god, measure yourselves properly before ordering. Like, Blanche Porte’s bra sizing is totally different from Bonprix, so maybe check the charts and compare them first? At least that’s what I did. Shipping isn't bad, $6.75. You can even do cash on delivery if you want. You probably already know that, but figured it might help someone.
Are there any other sales going on lately?
This thread has gone pretty quiet. 😢

brightowl6 said:Ugh! Totally forgot to swing back by here. 😛
Hey to you too! 🙂
The sizes are fine, just pretty standard. But I’m having a bit of a struggle with the sleeves because my upper arms are a little thicker. It’s not an issue with cotton stuff, but when it comes to button-downs and blazers, it’s a nightmare.
I bet your goodies have already arrived by now—are you happy with them? What did you end up grabbing?

Ugh, I totally forgot to let you know about the sizing. My life has been absolute chaos lately between home and work, and I haven't even had a second to wash these pants yet—I just tried them on.
So, they showed up in seven days—exactly when they said they would. Delivery guy was super nice, Overseas Express handled everything smoothly... honestly, five out of five stars from me.
Regarding sizing, I feel like they run a bit smaller than Bonprix or C&A—maybe even a size down, though honestly, it probably just depends on the specific cut, especially with the plus-size lines. Plus, I went with jeggings, which are already pretty tight to begin with.
Material and stitching seem alright, I guess. Not gonna go overboard with the praise though—don't want to jinx it. 😁
I’m pretty happy with it, so I’ll definitely be ordering again—assuming they keep the cash on delivery option and don't hike up the shipping fees too much. $117.

Yeah, I might as well jump in on this thread about Ullu. I actually stepped into one of their stores once and, honestly? Never again. Maybe the quality is technically better or whatever, but who cares when the clothes look like they were pulled from a grandma’s closet? Everything is just huge, shapeless sacks. And the prices? Ridiculous. You’d think they were selling 24k gold or something. 😵
And you can tell business is booming, I guess. I was literally the only person in the store.☕
Man, we seriously need another shop where we can actually swing by and try stuff on.
Fashion for curvy girls in Fashion ·
Hey, electrictinker18! 👋
I actually grabbed some stuff from the outlet too, should be here by Tuesday. I totally missed that extra 20% off deal though, which sucks.
Got two pairs of jeggings for myself and picked up some regular size pieces for my sister and mom.
How’s the sizing working out for you? I was trying to cross-reference the Bonmarché size charts with Mango's to figure it out, so hopefully I didn't mess it up too bad. 🤔
I went with cash on delivery, and since I spent over $117, shipping ended up being free. It's pretty cool that you can track the package, too—definitely a huge plus in my book. 👍

So, have you guys heard the rumor that Kohl's might stop carrying plus sizes? I've already heard it from two different people. I really hope it's just talk, because I always used to get those cotton basics there and they were honestly great. So-so.

Which KIK in the city actually carries good plus sizes?
That one over in Westgate is kind of a joke—there’s basically nothing there, just a few hangers and you're done. I liked the one above the grocery store near the CCO West mall, but does anyone know if there's another spot like that?
Personally, I think KIK is decent; I picked up some cotton pieces and they’ve held up okay. I have this sweater that looks brand new even though it’s a couple years old, whereas my stuff from C&A was like three times the price and started pilling after literally three wears.
Not sure if people know this, but you can actually get Bonprix stuff through eKupi.
Also, sometimes you can find gems on that Bfashion site—right now they've got some OVS work trousers for like $6 or so.
Is there any shop around town that isn't in a huge mall and isn't overpriced places like Max Size or Gjuro XXL?

feralpuma13 said:Honestly, I’ve reached the point where Target, Old Navy, and maybe even Kohl's are the only places I can actually find anything decent. 🤦
At H&M, it’s just an endless loop of skinny jeans and those basic long-sleeve tees—though, honestly, you probably need to grab another black one, but I'm out of sizes at my place. So yeah... just needed to vent for a second. 🙂Anyway, I usually rock a size 18-20-22 depending on how the fabric fits.

Stela, I didn't catch a glimpse of that dress, but it looks absolutely stunning 😍

Ugh, I feel you. Honestly, don't let it get you down. Maybe try browsing some sites like ASOS, New Look, Yours Clothing, or Mango? They all have decent plus-size lines. A ton of girls order from them all the time, so if you’re not feeling up to doing a solo order, maybe just ask someone to tag along on an order. It actually works out better sometimes when more people chip in anyway, since then the shipping costs end up being way cheaper.
So, if you're looking for plus sizes around here, stores like Kohls or Target usually carry some decent options. If you happen to be in the city, apparently the Lindex over at the local shopping center keeps a better selection in stock, though I haven't actually made it over there myself. Also, that Ulla Popken in the mall carries mostly large sizes, but I've heard it’s pretty pricey.
I mean, I’m sure there are other shops out there—online or whatever—that carry larger sizes, these just happen to be the most famous ones. Don't let it get to you. All us girls who need bigger sizes are basically in survival mode right now. It'll get better, I guess. 😉
Fashion for curvy girls in Fashion ·
@Lisa Myers, which shop are we talking about? Don't want to walk into a total disaster.
Anyone know which place has the best selection for plus size stuff? I mean, specifically here in the city. I thought it was CC1 West, but honestly, their quality seems to have taken a dive lately.

Carl Walker79 said:I'm an apple too—more like a barrel, honestly 😬 and ever since I started shopping at ASOS and New Look, I feel like a new person! The only thing is with New Look shirts, I make sure to check if it says "casual" or "regular fit." Their slim fit items are way too tight for me, and I'm not about that life.

Haha, a barrel... yeah, that's definitely me.😂.

Could you please let me know how their sizing runs? Like, if you could compare it to something like Old Navy, Bonprix, or maybe H&M? It feels like their size 20 is probably our 16 or something. Have you tried their pants yet? I’m thinking about grabbing some denim jeggings—nothing super skin-tight, just something that looks more like actual jeans.
I really need to get my PayPal set up.

Lisa Myers said:I’m not from the city, so I wouldn't know.

I shop at H&M. They don't carry plus-size suits, but I can fit into an XL or L sometimes... there’s this specific line, the Divided Basics, that fits me perfectly. I wear a US size 14/16, but in that specific line, you can really only find t-shirts—nothing else. In the "standard" H&M XL, there is absolutely no way I'm fitting into those. Those are just tiny little shirts that make you want to cry when you see the XL label; they're clearly made for someone of average weight. But the sizing in this line feels real. Plus, the shirts are priced at $23 and most importantly for me—they are actually long. Every single shirt I buy ends up being too short, especially after a wash. These seem pretty high quality, though. Now comes the first wash, and then we'll see how they hold up.

Thanks for the reply and thanks to all the girls here helping out. 🙂

redtrucker8 said:So, I’ve caught up on the last few pages, and I wanted to jump in with a few answers the girls missed...

Regarding Bon Prix, the sizing is great—maybe even a little roomy for me.
I usually grab some tees and tunics there, and they typically arrive in about three or four weeks.
I’ve also ordered from 3suisses and been quite happy with them, though you definitely need to size up since their cuts run small.

There isn't anything special at Lindex, and honestly, the prices are pretty steep.

As for H&M, I haven't found a single thing in the plus-size section yet, aside from one pair of jeans that stretched out so much I can't even wear them.

At Lidl, I pick up leggings ($13) and some comfy loungewear.

In the end, it all seems to come down to C&A. I'm actually planning to order a few things from Yours Clothing to try out, but I'm still building up the nerve...

I can vouch for that, and I should mention I picked up a few things from La Redoute too, back when they had free shipping and everything was on sale. Shipping took three days then, but that was probably because of the promo. Quality was good, but yeah, you definitely need to order a size up—at least for me.
As for Bon Prix, I actually just swapped a shirt from there for one from Kohl's and the sizes are identical. Just a heads-up though, both were cotton. I've noticed the synthetic stuff always feels a bit bigger than the cotton ones, like it has more stretch, you know? Of course, it all depends on the cut, so ordering online is always a bit of a gamble. But what can you do when you don't have many options?
I'd love to try YoursClothing, New Look, or ASOS too, but I don't have my PayPal set up yet. I'm planning to get it sorted ASAP because they have such cute stuff, I'm just a little hesitant because I have an apple shape, and it seems like most of their styles are meant for pear shapes.
YoursClothing has these amazing jeans I've been eyeing for a while. I love jeans, but whenever I buy pants, I always have to get them tailored because they're always way too loose around my legs.
And yeah, regarding the sizing—it matters if a size 16 is from the "regular" line or specifically the plus line. The stuff I got from La Redoute was from the regular line but ran large, so maybe that's why I needed a bigger size.

Lisa Myers said:Today I treated myself to two new shirts at H&M 😬.

Could you maybe say how the sizing is at H&M? Like, a little comparison.
I haven't gone yet, so I'm trying to figure out if it's even worth the trip. Also, does anyone know which stores in the city actually carry the plus-size line? I know they don't have it everywhere.

I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned these sites before
http://www.evans.co.uk/ and
http://www.newlook.com/

They ship to the States, but the shipping costs are kind of brutal. I think New Look has free shipping if you hit a certain amount. Usually, some girls on here end up teaming up to place a big order together to save money.

Has anyone been to Lindex? Just wondering what their selection and sizing is like.

Lisa Myers said:I’m thinking about ordering this skirt:

http://www.bonprix.com/en/stretchable...black/6407435/2

Usually, I wear a US size 18 or 20. But according to their sizing chart, I’m looking at a 24 or 26🤷. Are these things just running super small? Because what even is a size 2—is that for a baby? 🙂

Has anyone here actually shopped on this site before?

One more thing—if anyone else is placing an order, I’d love to jump in on it. Or if someone wants to tag along on mine, let me know. There’s a minimum order requirement,$66 and this skirt is only $56.

Hey, I've ordered from BonPrix a few times for you. About the sizing... I wouldn't say they run small, per se. It feels more like they use German sizing, kind of like how things fit at Kohl's or maybe similar to what Neckermann used to be like. Man, I miss when Neckermann was around; I used to score such good deals during their sales. If only they shipped directly to us like these German brands do.
Oh, and I think BonPrix offers a discount of $17 for new customers, or at least they used to. My packages usually took about three weeks to arrive—never faster—so maybe keep that in mind.

Does anyone have experience ordering from those UK sites like ASOS or New Look? How does their sizing compare to places like Kohl's or C&A?
