Give it a rest. We've got plenty of "old timers" around here, and honestly, I’d go as far as to say we have more than ever when you look at the 35+ crowd.

Exactly my point. Just think back to the start of the spring season—I'm talking specifically about Yankee Stadium. At the first game, there were maybe 400-500 bbb, then 600-700 at the second, 800 by the third, and once things started getting intense because everyone was mobilizing at lightning speed toward the 1,000 mark and beyond. Then come the bigger clubs and Hajduk—the police advisory board steps in, and Mamić's blacklists get used to push us out. 😁 Not to mention all those games were absolute nonsense; if it weren't for the guys in the West who just want to watch the match in peace (yeah, right), and the chanting happening in the stands, and how Mamić was only undermined here and there... they couldn't really ban anything except for a quick "poof"—a total stadium ban. 😍 If that hadn't happened, the crowds at Yankee Stadium would be insane right now. But whatever, let them keep their mass numbers somewhere else, who cares.
They've had a full-on Photo shoot at every single home game at Yankee Stadium for years now, if I recall correctly. As for those summer tourists showing up to games, it doesn't bother me that they'd pick Jerry Jones over the BBB; what actually gets to me is that they don't seem to grasp the concept of having a functional, honest, and well-run Real Madrid. We don't have a real crowd here—I mean, Dodger Stadium is totally sold out tonight for some random matchup nobody’s ever heard of, yet I'm supposed to lose my mind over a few thousand fair-weather fans who'll show up two or three more times and then disappear forever?

🤣 Honestly, I was sitting on the floor in the North Stand like a total idiot, and I actually lost my mind once they started blasting that victory anthem they play after a goal.🙂
I couldn't care less about their support, nor am I expecting them to actually wrap their heads around what a supporter movement is all about. It’s just the same old story: the corporate suits in the front office going up against the real fans. What really gets under my skin is their refusal to use any common sense—they won't even bother to compare the club we should be, versus the mess we are right now. They refuse to look at the gap between the kind of people who *should* be running a major US franchise and the crowd currently calling the shots. I'm talking about the difference between a club run for its own glory and one run by people who only care about lining their own pockets.
Look, BSD, it’s hard to explain this to someone who hasn't been a regular at the Rose Bowl for years. If you were from here, you’d get it—the heart and soul of the stadium is definitely the East Stand. It’s that old-school section with the four, five, or six rows of veterans, plus the slightly younger crowd mixed in. It’s easily the most packed part of the stands. Almost everyone grew up with at least one person like that in their section. But those people? They haven't just disappeared; they gave up. They got fed up and walked away. Now, the Rose Bowl just doesn't have its soul anymore. In the documentary *No One Is Going To Make Fools Out Of Them*, it hits home. This whole decline really started back when things went south during the era of pushing people out of Kranjčar; it isn't just about these recent legal battles involving Eric Phillips52.
Thomas Doyle19 said:but let's be real—we all know this is being driven by one single individual. Once that person finally hits rock bottom and faces their downfall, all of this nonsense will just stop dead in its tracks.
I'm right there with you. I honestly wouldn't even dare to guess how long it’ll take for the system to actually start working properly again, but it's inevitable. There are just too many blatant violations of the law happening right now that they simply won't be able to sweep under the rug forever.
ironraven45 said:I’m right there with you. It’s pretty obvious you picked that Arsenal match as your example because the atmosphere from the fans during that game was absolutely incredible.😁
What I actually meant was how the clubs reacted immediately after the draw, regardless of what happened with Arsenal.
ironraven45 said:Honestly, which one of those top-tier clubs would even want the Black and Gold faithful showing up at their games? That’s really the heart of the matter.
The whole "12th man" thing isn't just some made-up slogan. Just think back to when we drew Arsenal and the rest of the "elite" teams in the tournament. Their first reaction was always identical: "Why on earth are these guys coming with such a wild atmosphere?" They didn't even bother mentioning Luka Modrić or anyone else of that caliber. It all comes down to high-stakes, unpredictable matches. In a game like this against some bunch of sellouts, they’d probably find our presence pretty aggravating.
silentsailor28 said:Maybe tone down the arrogance toward people who just don't get what's actually going on. Everyone wants support from regular folks, but then they turn around and act like jerks when we hit them with "stupid" questions.
Oh, please. There have been endless threads written about this exact topic over the last three years; the only difference is they didn't print them out as coloring books for toddlers, primers for first graders, or textbooks for high schoolers. What else am I supposed to conclude? That we're being messed with by clones? :smirking_under_the_mustache
If you ask me, I’d kick out anyone who doesn't feel like they truly belong to the BBB crew. If you aren't one of us, just go hang out with the quiet majority somewhere else instead of cluttering this space up. 😁
I'm positive they're just trolling, honestly. They could find the answers to all their stupid questions in about ten minutes if they actually bothered to read through the previous posts in the thread.
velvetfalcon80 said:Dammit Tom, people have been whining about this for months. Trolls are everywhere, just constant negativity lurking under the surface, and then the second someone actually speaks up, you jump in with that "hey, let's keep it civil" crap. You didn't do a damn thing about those idiots who can't even string a coherent sentence together for the last hundred times they did it. I'm not ashamed to call them out by name, because frankly, I'm sick to death of these corporate shills. What really gets me is how you react to my post, yet you ignore a billion other idiotic ones. Best regards. Let me repeat this to our "hero" here: if you've got the guts, step up and prove it!
Absolutely. Even after a post like this, some absolute parasite crawls out of the woodwork thinking they're owed an explanation for why things are the way they are. Meanwhile, the moderators are busy calling for "civilized dialogue" instead of just cleaning house immediately, while they let people whine under the threads in the morning news section and other places meant for total morons.
We don't owe anyone a damn thing. We can show up or stay home whenever we feel like it. We aren't beholden to anyone, least of all some imaginary fanbase or the crooked, hateful public and those vultures in the media.

By the way, I caught that incredible episode on PBS yesterday regarding the death of Mark Azapovic. They had Velcro, Saranavka, and a rep from the Bad Boys on the panel, and even Mark’s brother called in via phone. This whole thing isn't going away quietly. The interrogation at the station was described as straight-up torture; they were calling out all of Ostojicev’s lies and inconsistencies. Based on his own time behind bars, Velcro is convinced he was forced to kneel for hours on end. It was also noted that it is entirely plausible the embolism was caused by blunt force trauma. To top it off, Velcro claimed he has witnesses who can testify that this kind of behavior from the County Police isn't just a one-off—it's their standard operating procedure.
Some drunk at the Atletico game 😁... This guy was leading the chants from the railing, and at one point he actually started leaning on me. I honestly thought, "Great, we're about to tumble together right onto the center circle." 😁 What a day... And apparently, everyone’s claiming Dinamo played their best match ever, haha.
