Man, these teams just don't know how to stop scoring... their games are absolute goal fests. We're looking at an average of over 4.5 goals per match when they face off. In their last 10 matchups, they've hit the 3+ mark every single time—actually, it's usually way more than that; for instance, 8 of those games ended with 4+, and 5 went even higher with 5+
Looking at the last seven matchups involving these two sides, they’ve consistently cleared the over/under line with at least three goals per game... total chaos out there. And if you look at their last five outings, TNS has absolutely been running the show—winning all five and putting at least two goals on the board every single time.
Dumbarton vs Dundee FC 3+ 1.64
Dumbarton is playing some seriously high-octane football this season—they just don't know how to stop scoring. Their average is sitting at a wild 3.9 goals per match... I mean, they've hit the 3+ mark in 7 of their last 8 games. That's insane. The only outlier was their first meeting of the season against Falkirk, which ended in a 1:1 draw—the only "under" they've seen in a minute.
Now they're facing Dundee FC, a team they haven't crossed paths with yet in league play. They did meet twice in cup matches though, and let me tell you, the more established side, Dundee, just dismantled them—winning convincingly with scores of 4:0 and 0:4. That said, neither team is exactly looking dominant right now... Dumbarton has only managed one home win, and Dundee has been just as shaky, picking up only one win on the road. At the end of the day, my money is on the goals here... hoping we see a few fly in.
rapidhound19 said:Watch out with this one, because even though Markovic and Nastasic were mentioned, they aren't actually playing for the U21 squad after all—Petkovic is suspended, plus Jojic and Zivkovic both got called up to the senior national team for tomorrow's friendly.
🙂 alright. Canada U21 - Austria U21 3 + 1.83
This is definitely going to be a clash between teams fighting for that second spot in the group, though Spain is clearly the powerhouse in this bunch... no question about it. Both sides have 6 points right now, but Austria has already played three matches, while Spain and Canada have only put in two. The Austrians took a tough 2-6 loss at home against Spain, but then they went out on the road and grabbed two wins, so they're coming into this one with plenty of momentum and looking to snatch a victory. The home team has been scoring, sure, but they've also been leaking goals—probably going to be more of the same today. They’re definitely leaning into an offensive mindset...😁 They gave up goals against Albania and Canada too, despite being in the middle of this insane winning streak. Since 2012, they've racked up six straight wins, and I honestly think they'll be hungry to keep it going on home turf after those two away wins. The visitors' coach, Gregoritsch, is out there claiming they're better than the Canadians... We could easily see a few goals flying in today at eto park in Győr.
Since the senior national team is currently on a break, the head coach decided to pull together the absolute best talent he’s got available for this squad... basically calling up the heavy hitters from the main roster. We're looking at guys like Nastasic, Djuricic, Milivojevic, and Mitrovic—all top-tier talents who have been moved down from the senior team to bolster the U21 side.
Honestly, Cyprus is basically dead in the water here—they don't even have a prayer at qualifying anymore. They've already played four matches in the group and managed to drop three of them... just a total disaster. The USA pulled off a 2-1 win in their first matchup, which was actually their only game played in the group so far. If we're being real, they should walk away with another win in this second meeting too. The talent gap is massive, and the USA has way more ambition than these guys... definitely the better side on paper and on the field.
I’m talking names like Christian Pulisic, Weston McKennie, Gio Reyna, Tim Weah, Yunus Musah, Tyler Adams, Sergiño Dest, and Weston McKennie... Belgium—err, I mean the USA—has an absolutely loaded offensive lineup here, and they’ve been cleaning up with three straight wins in the group stage. In their last outing, they barely scraped by some pretty mediocre guys from Northern Ireland, but let's be real—they completely ran circles around them and owned the pitch from start to finish. I don't see any other way this plays out in the second match either. The Americans are going to walk away with another win and basically lock down that top spot in the group.
As for the Northern Ireland U21 squad, their recent track record is honestly embarrassing—three wins, one draw, and nine losses over their last 13 matches. Those three wins came against teams like San Marino (twice) and the Faroe Islands (one win, one draw)... after that? They’ve just been on a massive eight-game losing streak.
Man, Seattle is in a total mess heading into this match—I honestly can't even figure out how they’re going to field a decent starting XI. Alfons Groenendijk filed a formal complaint with MLS headquarters, but they just shut him down and refused to postpone the game. Typical...
Lately, it feels like half these kids have been pulled up to the first team, you've got guys like Lucas Andersen, Nicolai Boilesen, Davy Klaassen, van der Hoorn, Denswil, Lesley de Sa, Jody Lukoki... and most of them are busy playing for the youth national teams right now, grinding through U21 matches against Georgia or U19 stuff against Moldova... On top of that, Ligeon is sidelined with an injury, while Bazoer, Tete, and Hart are away on international duty, so who knows what kind of Frankenstein lineup Seattle is actually going to roll out? Cincinnati isn't exactly a powerhouse, but given the absolute chaos Seattle is dealing with right now, they’re basically on equal footing.
for example, if the line is at 2, it's sitting at 2.60, it could definitely happen, and you should totally expect those odds to drop soon enough
West Brom vs. Arsenal Over 2.5 goals @ 1.79 Arsenal to score over 1.5 goals @ 1.74>
Arsenal’s been on this absolute tear lately—winning everything in sight. But look, these things don't last forever... it’s just typical for them to have some guys out on the injury list today, nothing crazy, just the usual headache. On the flip side, you've got West Brom, who haven't tasted defeat in their last three outings. Whenever these two squads meet up in Birmingham, the nets practically bulge—it's always a shootout. I mean, even their last encounter in the League Cup a few days back was pure chaos.
09/25/13, West Brom vs. Arsenal 4 : 5 (OT) 04/06/13, West Brom vs. Arsenal 1 : 2 05/13/12, West Brom vs. Arsenal 2 : 3 03/19/11, West Brom vs. Arsenal 2 : 2 03/03/09, West Brom vs. Arsenal 1 : 3 10/15/05, West Brom vs. Arsenal 2 : 1
Arsenal looks like they're itching for another win—they feel unstoppable right now, though they're definitely "glass cannons" since they score big but can't seem to keep a clean sheet to save their lives. The history of these games in Birmingham screams "over." It's almost a guarantee. The value is sitting right there for Wenger’s squad to bag more than one goal, and honestly, I don't see why they wouldn't pull it off again today...
LA Galaxy vs. Portland Timbers | Over 2.5 goals @ 1.85
The Galaxy are absolutely ripping right now—three straight wins and they’ve put up seven goals over their last three outings alone. They're just relentless offensively... I mean, look at the lineup we're talking about here—players like Christian Benteke, Riqui Puig, Gabriel Pec, maybe even some depth from the midfield... these guys can easily drop two or three goals on anyone on any given night. The only real hole in the roster right now is that they're missing their starting keeper, which could be a problem... Portland is also riding a decent wave, coming off an unbeaten streak through three matches. They've actually managed to find the back of the net against big names like LAFC, Seattle, and maybe even a tough matchup against Atlanta this season... so they definitely have the firepower to pull something against the Galaxy. I'm calling it—this is going to be a high-scoring shootout. Let's go with the over.
Look, both these squads are sitting right at the top of the table, they're playing out of their minds lately, and—more importantly—they are absolutely clinical in front of the net. It’s actually kind of rare to see these two teams walk away with just one goal in a match... usually, they’re cranking out 2, 3, or even more. Now, Zenit’s defense has been solid at home—only let in two goals so far—but Spartak? They’ve managed to find the back of the net in every single away game they've played. The offensive firepower is insane, but man, their defensive lines? Not so much. They’re shaky as hell and tend to give up goals way too often. Out of Zenit's last 11 matches, they only hit the "under" twice (that 2:0 against Terek Grozny and the 1:1 with Dynamo Moscow) Historically, when these two clash, we get a total goal fest... so I'm fully expecting the fireworks to start flying tomorrow at Petrovski Stadium.
Look, Kuban is basically spiraling right now—three games without a single win under their belt. They managed one home win by a hair at 3:2, and away from home? Same story, just a gritty 1:2 win... nothing impressive about it. Then you’ve got Terek Grozny sitting dead last. They can't find the winner to save their lives, already sitting on six losses—though, to be fair, five of those were tight one-goal nail-biters. Plus, they're facing Zilav, and man, scoring against them is like trying to punch through a brick wall... it's tough to find any space.
Honestly, if I'm Kuban, I couldn't ask for a better matchup right now. They're staring down the weakest traveling squad in the league—basically the basement dwellers. This team has been pathetic offensively, only netting three goals in nine matches, and they haven't actually beaten Kuban once... they've only managed to scrape two draws out of it. Neither side is playing particularly great, let's be real, but if the home team is actually serious about snapping this losing streak and finally grabbing a W, this is their golden ticket. I wouldn't go expecting some massive blowout🙄, but if Kuban pulls it off today, I’m calling it a narrow margin... history shows that 5 out of Kuban's 6 wins over Terek Grozny have been decided by just a single goal.
Man, I’ve been staring at these lines for an hour and I gotta say... looking at the PSG vs. Valenciennes matchup, that 1.45 price for a PSG win? It feels like such a trap—it's one of those "too good to be true" numbers that just screams trouble... I don't know, man. On paper, sure, the big club should steamroll them, but in a league like this, anything can happen once the underdog gets a bit of momentum... honestly, I'm leaning towards passing on this one unless the odds shift significantly... just doesn't sit right with me...
After that home draw against Monaco, I’m seriously expecting us to finally kick things into high gear and start a massive winning streak... honestly, we need it. We’re facing Valenciennes next, and let me tell you—those guys have been nothing but road warriors for seasons now, always finding ways to scrap for wins away from home. But this year? This current squad is easily one of the absolute worst teams in the league... just total bottom-of-the-barrel stuff. PSG needs to do exactly what I’m expecting—just walk in there and take the whole damn thing. They’re playing Valenciennes, and honestly, those guys are a complete disaster right now. They’re sitting dead last at the bottom of the table and can't catch a break... five straight losses in a row. It's pathetic, really... if PSG doesn't sweep this up, I'm gonna lose it.
So, looking back at the last five matchups...
Man, looking back at that November 2012 matchup between Valenciennes and PSG... yeah, just a total blowout. 4-0. It wasn't even a contest, honestly—just one of those games where one side looks like they forgot how to play defense while the other is playing on another planet. PSG was absolutely clinical that night, just steamrolling through everything in their path... typical dominance for them back then. Just a complete mismatch from the opening whistle. May 6th, 2012... man, I still can't believe that absolute rollercoaster between the French side and PSG. It was a total bloodbath—3 to 4. Just pure, unadulterated chaos from start to finish... honestly, my heart couldn't take it. One minute you think you've got them pinned, and the next, they're tearing you apart. Absolute madness... December 11, 2010... PSG travels to face Valenciennes and honestly, I've got a bad feeling about this one—just a gut feeling that things might get messy out there. Looking at the matchup, it’s looking like a tight battle, but if PSG can actually find their rhythm and play some cohesive soccer, they should be able to grind out a 2-1 win... maybe. It’s always a gamble when you're playing away from home like this, especially with how unpredictable these squads can be—but let's see if they can actually pull it together for once... October 11, 2010—remember that one? PSG pulling off a 3-1 win against Valenciennes... man, looking back at those old matchups, things felt so different back then. Just one of those random mid-season games that sticks in your head for some reason... August 22, 2009—man, I still remember this one like it was yesterday. It was that classic matchup between Valenciennes and PSG... ended up being a 2-3 nail-biter. Just one of those games where everything felt chaotic from the jump... honestly, just absolute madness on the pitch.
Man, I’m looking at this Elche vs. Real Madrid matchup... if you're thinking about taking the 2-1 scoreline at 1.30, you might want to take a massive step back and rethink your entire life. Seriously. That juice is absolutely criminal—it's basically asking you to hand over your lunch money for almost zero return. You're betting on a specific, tight outcome with some shaky legs involved, all for a payout that wouldn't even cover a decent burger in Chicago... it just doesn't add up. Why even bother chasing those pennies when the risk is sitting right there staring you in the face? It's a total trap... just feels like a sucker bet to me...
I guess we’re finally talking about Elche... honestly, I don't even know where to start with this mess—it feels like we've been circling the drain for ages now. Just one thing after another, man. It's exhausting watching them fumble through every single decision like they have no clue what they're doing... seriously, if you think for one second that things are actually going to turn around without some massive, fundamental overhaul, you're dreaming. Just my two cents, though... maybe I'm just being cynical. Man, I am absolutely losing my mind over this league... honestly, how is it even possible for things to be this disorganized? It’s just constant chaos from week to week—no structure, no vision, just a bunch of teams stumbling around trying to make sense of a mess that shouldn't exist in the first place. You look at the top tier of American soccer and it's like watching a slow-motion train wreck... just pure, unadulterated frustration for anyone who actually cares about the sport...Man, I'm telling you... this squad is absolutely gutless right now. Zero wins on the board for the whole season. Just nothing. It’s honestly pathetic to watch at this point... Man, those guys seriously managed to screw over Sociedad with that 1-1 draw—and don't even get me started on that scoreless grind against Valladolid... absolutely pathetic performance. I’ve got a bad feeling about this one... honestly, I don't think we can dodge a loss against a powerhouse like Real Madrid this time around. This is their first home game of the season, and you know how it goes—everything is fresh, they're hungry, and there’s always that "first time" factor where things just go sideways for the underdog...😉 Real Madrid is seriously lagging behind that top duo right now—and honestly, they can't afford to drop the ball like this in a matchup like today. If they slip up again, it’s game over... I'm expecting them to pull it off and take the win, but man, they really need to step it up...🤷
Betis definitely has the edge here—they’re playing at home where they look solid, they know how to find the back of the net, and they’re just efficient... meanwhile, Lyon’s defense—well, honestly, the whole squad looked like a mess at the start of the season. Just mediocre. The defense keeps leaking goals, and the attack either can't score or barely does. I don't even know how much they care about the Europa League, but they’re dealing with lineup issues again today: Gourcuff, Bisevac, Miguel Lopes, and Danic are all out. It's not like the visitors are trash or that Betis is going to absolutely steamroll them, but if nothing else, I'm betting that visiting defense slips up and concedes again.
Friday Randers vs. Aalborg, Aalborg to score 1.25
Aalborg has managed to score at least once in all four of their away games. Randers, on the other hand, has conceded in every single one of their four home matches—they’re basically among the worst home sides in the MLS. Looking at the last 7 times Aalborg went to Randers, they only failed to score once (a 0-0 draw). Their offense is actually pretty decent—Anders Jacobsen has already bagged 3 goals, and that veteran midfielder Kasper Risgaard has 2.
Friday Fortuna Sittard vs. Sparta, Sittard to score 1.20 Fortuna is one of the better home teams; they’ve scored in every match on their own turf, averaging about 3 goals per game at home. Plus, they have this weirdly good track record against Sparta—it feels like they’ve been scoring against these guys from Rotterdam for seasons now.
11/16/12, Fortuna Sittard vs. Sparta 1 : 3 03/10/12, Fortuna Sittard vs. Sparta 1 : 0 03/11/11, Fortuna Sittard vs. Sparta 3 : 1 05/06/05, Fortuna Sittard vs. Sparta 3 : 0 10/03/03, Fortuna Sittard vs. Sparta 1 : 1 02/07/03, Fortuna Sittard vs. Sparta 1 : 1 10/13/01, Fortuna Sittard vs. Sparta 3 : 4 12/09/00, Fortuna Sittard vs. Sparta 2 : 1 10/23/99, Fortuna Sittard vs. Sparta 3 : 2 10/17/98, Fortuna Sittard vs. Sparta 2 : 1 02/05/98, Fortuna Sittard vs. Sparta 2 : 1
Saturday Port Vale vs. Coventry City, Coventry to score 1.17
Alongside Leyton, Coventry has the best attack in League One. They’ve found the net in every single match, so I’m expecting them to do the same at Vale Park against a mediocre Port Vale side.
Saturday Roda JC vs. Heerenveen, Heerenveen to score 1.17
Heerenveen is running the most efficient offense in the Eredivisie right now. They’ve scored in every game and they’ve got Finnbogason, who is lethal—they’re averaging around 2.7 goals per match. Roda is just an average team... they let in 5 goals in their last outing against NAC Breda. Heerenveen should easily grab at least one...
Saturday Young Boys vs. Luzern, Y. Boys to score 1.15
They’ve scored at least once in all 7 rounds so far. And they’ve scored on Luzern in 10 straight matches in Bern... Luzern is one of the worst away teams in the league, giving up an average of 3 goals whenever they travel.
Looks like AC Milan is going to be missing a ton of guys tonight;
Gabriel (GK); I. Abate, M. Silvestre, D. Bonera, De Sciglio, Montolivo, Poli, Kaka, El Shaarawy, Pazzini, and Niang.
That’s a massive amount of players out of the lineup—honestly, Celtic might actually pull something off here, maybe even sneak away with a win in Milan if things go their way.
The home defense looks shaky as hell right now, totally unconvincing... I'm expecting Celtic to sit back, play defensive, and just hunt for those counter-attacks like they have in seasons past, while staying super gritty until the final whistle. They’ve got a real shot with set pieces, too, plus they know how to handle these high-pressure games... I really think this depleted, mediocre AC Milan squad is going to be in for a serious fight. AC Milan vs. Celtic FC | Over 2.5 goals | 2.10
Tuesday, Sept 17th Champions League UEFA Champions League match: SL Benfica vs RSC Anderlecht Over 2.5 goals @ 2.40
Look, Benfica has been absolute chaos in their first four domestic league matches—every single game has seen goals flying in. They’ve had three games hit that Over 2.5 mark, plus they just played a 1:1 draw in the city derby against Sporting CP. On the flip side, RSC Anderlecht has been playing high-octane ball all seven rounds in Belgium, consistently hitting Over 2.5, and honestly? They concede plenty too. When you put two offensive-minded teams like this together—especially with the home side looking like the favorites here—you just have to expect goals. It’s almost inevitable... Both squads look pretty shaky defensively if you ask me. There are holes everywhere. The attackers on both sides are definitely going to sniff out those mistakes and punish them. With guys like Cardozo, Lim, Djuricic, Salvia, and Gaitan facing off against Suarez, Praet, and Mitrovica... I'm calling it now: we're seeing goals. I'm hoping both nets get hit.
Sept 18th Champions League UEFA Champions League match: FC Barcelona vs AFC Ajax Over 2.5 goals @ 2.40
I don't care how much of a powerhouse FC Barcelona is, or how much of an underdog AFC Ajax might seem... I really think we could see a shootout here if things get wild. Barcelona will probably jump out to a lead in the first half—maybe up by one or two—but then they might get a bit too comfortable, right? If they relax, Ajax is going to smell blood and start playing wide open to chase the game. They played exactly like that last season, too... smashing Borussia Dortmund 4:1 and battling it out 2:2 with Manchester City... And let's not forget, last season at the Camp Nou, Barcelona conceded goals against Celtic FC and Spartak Moscow... so why wouldn't they give up one to Ajax? These guys are offensively dangerous and always play to score.
It’s a local derby between two sides sitting dead even in the standings. Both squads have 6 points on the board—two wins and one loss apiece. The home side is really starting to look like a legitimate mainstay in the top flight this year; they actually went out and grabbed some serious talent during the offseason... They brought in Sanharib Malki up front from Rode, snagged Ryan Babel from Ajax as a free agent, picked up Ezequiel Oscar Scarione in midfield from St. Gallen, added young midfielder Aktas from St. Etienne, and even pulled Ryan Donk from Club Brugge to bolster the defense. Plus, you still’ve got guys like Tabare Vuidez, Kalu Uche, the Turkish contingent, Andre Castro, and that veteran presence in goal with Isaksson... all being managed from the sidelines by Shota Arveladze. They did lose a few pieces though—Djalma headed back to Porto, along with Ibricic, F Ernst, Dereli, and S Garcia.
As for Fenerbahce, ever since that European suspension hit, they've been laser-focused on nothing but winning in the MLS. Man, their offensive lineup is absolutely stacked... we're talking Sow, Webo, Kuyt, and Emenike, all supported by Baroni, Meirelles, and Emre. Honestly, these guys should be scoring at least once—if not more—every single time they step on the pitch because, strictly looking at the names on the roster, they're easily the most explosive offensive unit in the league. The over/under ratio for this matchup between the home team and Fener stands at 5 compared to 3. I’m telling you, goals aren't going to be an issue tonight... both these teams have more than enough firepower to find the back of the net. The last time they played at the Erdogan Stadium, they walked away with a 2-0 win, and I highly doubt Fenerbahce is just gonna show up and fail to score twice in a row while playing away... unlikely. Over
After that loss last weekend, I can finally catch my breath here in Portland and just... chill for a second. Obviously, the goal is to kick off a new winning streak—that’s what everyone at the club is breathing down our necks for. They’ve been playing lights out at the start of this season, super efficient, especially at home where they’ve dropped at least two goals in all three matches and their games have consistently hit that Over 2.5 mark. Think 4:2, 2:1, and 3:2... nothing easy. LAFC is a legit threat though, a top-tier squad that plays just as aggressively as Portland—we're talking an average of like 3 or 4 goals per match. Hell, they even had one crazy game against St. Louis that ended 5:5. They are more than capable of stepping up and finding the back of the net. I’m calling it now—goals are coming tonight at Providence Park. So far, Portland’s home games have been high-scoring affairs, and it’s the exact same story with LAFC when they head out on the road.
Bursaspor vs. Besiktas Over 2.5 goals @ 2.00
The big derby of the week is happening in Bursa, where the home side is gonna try to use that home-field advantage to halt a surging Besiktas team that’s riding a massive three-game win streak. You could say Christoph Daum’s squad is finally finding their rhythm—they managed to claw out a draw against Galatasaray and then pulled off a road win in Antalya. But man, they’re missing Belluschia in the midfield today. That hurts.
Besiktas is sitting at the top and absolutely crushing it right now. They started strong and they want to keep this momentum rolling, plus their roster isn't even dealing with too many issues—just missing Holosko up front and Boral in the midfield. Both these teams have huge ambitions this season, they've got real talent, and they're both in peak form... so it’s totally reasonable to expect an open, attacking game in front of a packed house at the Ataturk Stadium. Looking back at the last few matchups between these two, they almost always end with plenty of goals, so why should tonight be any different?
So, we've got the most clinical squad in League One right now—they’ve been absolutely tearing it up after two matches where things were a bit tighter... but today they’re facing a team that’s basically perfect for them to feast on. Gillingham hasn't really shown much teeth so far... nothing at all, actually. The home side is obviously looking to grab these points and finally crawl their way out of the basement... which is exactly what they need to do. Coventry is playing aggressive, high-octane football—super efficient—and honestly, you could say the same for the visitors... I mean, in all three of their away trips, they’ve tried to dictate play and outclass whoever is in front of them, even if they only walked away with one point total from those trips. I'm talking scores like 3:2, 2:2, and 4:0... just pure chaos.
Looking back at the last four times these two have collided; it was 1:3, 2:2, 5:2, and another 2:2. I’m calling it again—expecting a high-scoring shootout here... lots of goals.
AGF Aarhus vs. Viborg Over 2.5 goals @ 1.70
We’re looking at a matchup between the absolute heavy hitters of the Superliga... the highest-scoring teams in the league. AGF is averaging about 4 goals per game, and the visitors are sitting right there with them—it’s a dead heat at 14:14. The home team is going to be missing Alexander Juel Andersen in defense (6/1)... which might leave them a bit exposed. Their offense is lethal, though, so it’s a safe bet that the home side finds the back of the net at least once... easily. Out of seven games, they’ve only failed to score in one single match.
Viborg is dealing with some holes too—missing their captain, defender Mikkel Rask, plus they're without midfielder Lukas Lerager. But don't sleep on the visitors; they're coming in hungry for the win, and they’ve got Thomas Dalgaard leading the charge—he’s sitting on 7 goals, making him the league's top marksman. They know how to score, plain and simple... they did it in all three of their previous outings. This game is begging for goals... should be a fun one.
Detroit City FC vs. LA Galaxy Over 3.5 goals @ 1.98
Look, both of these squads have been absolute scoring machines lately. Out of their last 7 games, Detroit City has only seen under 3 goals once—just one time! And LA Galaxy? They've only stayed under that mark twice. It’s basically a guarantee at this point. But here’s the kicker with LA Galaxy... they are absolutely gutted in the backline today. They’re missing both their starting keepers, plus they don't have their big defensive signing, Serdar Tasci, available, and even Bocchetti is out too... it's a total mess back there. Galaxy plays this super aggressive, high-octane style—it’s their whole identity—and while they can hammer out 2 or 3 goals themselves, with a defense looking this thin, you just know they're going to leak goals. I honestly think Detroit City can really push the pace against a "favorite" like LA Galaxy today. I’m expecting a wide-open shootout with plenty of action between these two overlooked sides...
Everyone’s calling it—the home team should take this one easy, but honestly? If the visitors can just nick a goal against them, I wouldn't be surprised at all... The Galaxy play an aggressive, high-octane style at home—they can pump out 2 or 3 goals on any given night—but man, they leave themselves wide open too. They’ve got a habit of letting teams slide right through their defense...
I’m thinking the visitors might actually push things forward with a more offensive lineup, looking something like this:
Christian Pulisic, Weston McKennie, Gio Reyna, and maybe even someone like Haji Wright up front.
On the other side, the Galaxy are going to be feeling it in the midfield since they'll be missing their main playmaker—and they don't have anyone like Tyler Adams to steady the ship either...
Plus, the Galaxy have that massive Champions League matchup coming up in New York next week CL against Real Madrid, so you just know there's gonna be some rotation or weird tactical math happening with the squad. There's even talk that the backup keeper might have to step up because of travel delays from South America... The away team is definitely going to carve out a few chances—that's a given—so expecting them to find the back of the net at least once isn't a stretch...
