Nah, it wasn't about that old "back in my day" stuff, it was exactly what you said. On the field, everyone is equal; it's just that our schedules and responsibilities have changed. Twenty years ago, this was my entire life, but now it's just a hobby I pick up whenever I actually have some free time.

That makes sense to a bride, I guess. Back when I was part of that core crew, you weren't just watching from the sidelines—you were right in the thick of it. Now that we're over 40, some of us can still back them up, but most of us can't pull those long shifts every single day anymore.

Total class act. After games, he’d always pick up the tab at the local diner, and even when people gave him grief, he’d empty his pockets to make sure everyone was taken care of.👍

Maybe it’s not high-def, but I film my own stuff too—close-ups of the turbine blades and all that, just for my private collection. I play them back whenever I need a little pick-me-up, but I’m not posting them anywhere. I don't even have Facebook or any of that other garbage. My kids are all over those platforms, but honestly, they’re basically the same age as half the people on here anyway... look, if I broke some rules, I’ll just delete it and won't bother filming in the future!
