Looking for a specialist... in Health ·
Grace Davis77 said:Even in Chicago, things aren't always perfect, trust me. If you need orthopedic work, I'd probably suggest heading over to Newport.

So, the Mayo Clinic found him—looks like it might be a rib or something. He'll probably get assigned to a specific ward, maybe doing endoscopy or something like that. They said the check-up should happen in about 2 months.

Nicole Castillo3 said:Hey, I could really use a recommendation for a solid orthopedic surgeon in Miami. During a routine checkup, they told me I have scoliosis, but then some doctor at San Francisco insisted everything was totally fine.
The thing is, my back is killing me regardless—I’d love to get back into sports, but I'm kind of terrified I might make things worse if I push it...

Thanks! 😉

Any advice? I'm looking in Chicago. Honestly, dealing with the Mayo Clinic in Miami is just such a headache. From what I've experienced, Chicago is on a whole different level—I'll definitely be heading back there once I can afford it.

Patrick Green59 said:I've been dealing with this crazy vertigo, weakness, and some little spots—about 4 mm—and honestly, God only knows what it is. I'm worried if it's dangerous or not. I'm getting a CT scan and a CT angiography in about six months, but it isn't a cavernoma. Now I'm just waiting on an MRI for my brain and cervical spine in about 20 days, and once I have all those results, I'll head over to Chicago.

Dr. Ilendecic actually operated on me about seven years ago in Oakwood for trigeminal neuralgia and totally saved my life—I couldn't even walk for two years because of the pain. Back then, the doctors in Miami had absolutely no clue what was going on. Nowadays, it's my head and these pains on the left side... maybe it's ulcerative colitis, or IBS, or whatever they call it. I've been struggling and pushing through it for three years now, but it's ruining my sleep and my job, and I just really need a solution. The doctors here in Miami don't seem to have any answers. They won't even give me a referral to go to Chicago or cover my travel expenses; I have to pay for everything myself. Honestly, it's pretty shameful.😠

Grace Davis77 said:I heard he’s a great doctor too—though I couldn't find him on the directory, so it's probably best just to call the main hospital line and ask. Their database is likely just out of date.
What do you need a neurosurgeon for? There are some really solid ones over at Mayo Clinic or Johns Hopkins...

It's mostly for dizziness, feeling weak, and these little spots... they're about 4 mm, honestly who knows what they are or if they're actually dangerous. I had a CT and a CT angiography about six months ago—it wasn't a venous cavernoma—so now I'm just waiting on an MRI for my brain and cervical spine in about 20 days. Once I have all the results, I'll head over to Chicago to get everything checked out.

Patrick Green59 said:Does Branko Bilić still work over at Oakwood? I heard he moved over to Rib—supposedly he's pretty great there. Honestly, I’ve been dealing with this constant pain for two years now and still don't have a single diagnosis, which is just frustrating. If anyone happens to know a solid neurologist or neurosurgeon, let me know... I heard Dr. Vilandecic retired from Oakwood, so I'm kind of back at square one.🤦

It’s honestly such a mess here in Seattle—the gastroenterologists are basically telling me they can't help, and then you look at neurology... I mean, a six-month wait? It's ridiculous. And to top it all off, nobody will even bother to sign off on my paperwork so I can get a travel voucher to go see a specialist in Portland. It’s just a total disgrace.

Patrick Green59 said:Does anyone know any good doctors who can give me a solid diagnosis? I could go through my insurance or just pay out of pocket—not really sure what the copay or private fees look like right now. Maybe someone in Chicago or LA? Please let me know if you have leads. It’s kind of urgent. Thanks.

Branko Bilić, is he still practicing over in the suburbs? I heard he moved to the downtown clinic and that he's great. I've been dealing with this pain for two years now and still don't have a straight answer... also, does anyone know a good neurologist or neurosurgeon? I think Dr. Vilandecic retired from the main hospital.🤦

On the Bug forum, after we all tried our best to lend a hand, he just started spamming endless walls of text—basically just logs—over and over again. He refuses to listen to anyone, insists on doing things his own way, and just keeps repeating the same tired points. It’s exhausting, really.

After five days of pure, unadulterated frustration, the decision was finally made to delete his thread entirely. Not just lock it, mind you—actually delete it. That is an incredibly rare occurrence on a forum like this. 🥱

I don't even need help from people like you. None of you guys have even had the guts to hop on TeamViewer to see that I'm telling the truth👎
I'm grabbing all those 32-bit and 64-bit versions right now—I'll hit you guys up later tonight. Quick question though, how do I fix my keyboard? It’s typing the wrong letters for some reason...
Thanks, I'll give it a shot—just let me know if this one is 32-bit http://msft.digitalrivercontent.net/win/X17-24394.iso 2147483647 X17-24394.iso Windows 7 Ultimate x86 or if it's this one instead

http://pastebin.com/8v7AgHhb so, here's the deal—if anyone can help me out before I just give up and take this thing to a repair shop, I'd really appreciate it. I tried posting this on another forum earlier and just got totally roasted, so... yeah. About a year ago, I installed Windows 7 on my old PC and everything was smooth sailing. Well, about a month ago I picked up a new machine—nothing crazy, just a decent budget build—and I set it up with Windows, updated all the drivers, threw an antivirus on there... but even after reinstalling ten different times, I keep hitting the same wall. I honestly thought I was just doing something wrong. Some guy actually hopped on TeamViewer to try and help me out, but he ended up giving up too. Basically, when Windows boots up, I hear this constant "beep beep beep" sound until it finally loads. Once it's up, if I try to open Firefox or even just a folder, like ten identical windows pop up at once. Or if I try to run a program installer, the window just flickers and disappears instantly. Weirdly enough, if I open a folder or Firefox and just search for something random on Google, then switch away from the browser without restarting, the computer seems to act normally for a bit. I've tried pretty much every antivirus out there and nothing finds a single thing. I even swapped out the mouse and keyboard, but no luck. Maybe I messed something up in the BIOS? Does anyone know how to update a BIOS, or maybe what kind of tool I should use to check if all my components are actually running okay? Please, don't be mean about it—I’m definitely not a pro, though I think I know my way around a computer well enough. This has never happened to me before. Also, the motherboard temp is hitting 123 degrees, which sounds sketchy, and my keyboard is typing letters wrong. If anyone has any ideas, thanks so much. Here is the log:😵🙂👎

http://pastebin.com/8v7AgHhb So, here’s the deal—if anyone can help me out before I just give up and take this thing to a repair shop. I tried posting this on another forum earlier, but people were being pretty jerks about it, so... yeah. About a year ago, I installed Windows 7 on my old PC and everything was smooth sailing. Well, I picked up a newer machine about a month ago—nothing crazy, just what I could afford—and I went through the whole routine: installed Windows, updated all the drivers, got an antivirus running... but even after reinstalling ten different times, I keep hitting the same wall. I honestly thought I was doing something wrong. I even had some guy jump on via TeamViewer to take a look, but he basically gave up on me. The weird part? Every time Windows boots up, you hear this constant "beep beep beep" until it finally settles. Then, things get really glitchy. If I try to open Mozilla or even just a simple folder, like ten identical windows pop up at once. Or if I try to run a program installer, the window just flickers and vanishes instantly. Strangely enough, if I open a folder or Mozilla and just search for something random on Google, I can actually work normally for a bit without closing anything. I've tried every antivirus under the sun and nothing shows any malware. I even swapped out the mouse and keyboard, but no luck. Maybe I messed something up in the BIOS? Does anyone know how to update a BIOS, or maybe which tool I should use to check if all my components are actually functioning okay? Please, go easy on me—I'm definitely not a tech expert, though I think I know my way around a computer a little bit. This has never happened to me before. Also, my motherboard temp is sitting at a wild 123 degrees... and my keyboard is typing letters totally wrong. If anyone has any ideas, I’d really appreciate it. The error report is up there 😵🙂👎

Hey guys—does anyone happen to know any good doctors who can give me a solid diagnosis? I’m looking for someone who takes Medicare, though I’m also open to going private if I have to... I honestly have no clue what those types of visits end up costing these days. Looking in either Chicago or Miami. Please let me know if you have any leads. It’s kind of an emergency. Thanks!
