So, I started a new thread over on the Democratic Party board and threw up a poll

1) Should we let Austria access the ocean by giving up some territory?

2) The first host actually deleted my new thread, but I guess he was smart enough to see how important the poll was, so he just moved my poll and post over to the main USA-Canada dispute thread instead.

3) Then this new moderator showed up (no clue who)
and wiped both my poll and my post out completely. 😲

Calling all experts and the International Criminal Court here

to please, just like the first host did,

leave my interesting poll and my post alone.

If you won't, then maybe someone could just DM me my witty little post so I can send it to The Washington Post and keep it as a souvenir.🙂

Respectfully scribed,🙂

I get what you mean, and yeah, everything looks super easy on YouTube, but Windows 7 is being weird with me. Out of the 400 GB I have free (on my 1TB drive), Disk Management is only letting me make a 150 GB partition.

I did some digging online, and apparently, it's just a limitation within Windows 7 itself.
People are saying it's better to just grab some free partition tool that uses whatever tricks it needs to give me more space, I guess.

Like, everyone on the internet recommends EaseUS Partition Master. I actually grabbed it via torrent since it supposedly "cleans up" hard drives way better than the built-in Windows 7 tool.

I'm mostly just wondering about your experiences—why on earth would Windows 7 cap me at 150 GB when I clearly have 400 GB sitting there??🤔

What software should I use to partition a 1TB hard drive?

Is it better to just use Windows 7 (which I'm running) or should I grab some specific program?

Got a laptop here with a 1TB hard drive running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.

I’ve never really messed around with creating new partitions before, but people keep telling me I should probably get on that. Any advice?

1) How would you guys LAY OUT the partitions? Like, should I clear out some junk first? (Maybe burn some files to free up more than the 426 GB I have sitting there right now.)

2) What software should I use?

3) I saw some YouTube video saying you don't even need extra software—just use Windows itself by going to Start -> Computer, right-clicking, Manage, Disk Management, and so on...
