I'm 34, about 5'8" and 158 lbs. I do some running, bodyweight exercises, and work in a warehouse. 3.1 miles Lots of walking every day. Also having 3-4 beers daily.
Some sort of, I guess, muscle mass or an attempt at it. 🤔
And there isn't much of a visual difference. There are 5 months between these photos. Since I am not great with tracking time and I work 6 days a week, I just train whenever I can. Chin-ups, push-ups, dumbbells, planks.
It just kind of accumulated over time, I guess. Little by little every day. I don't really have a specific program or any real goal in mind. Everything is at my place, but I try to stay consistent. I suppose I'll just keep doing what I've been doing and see what happens.
No, I get where you're coming from. If I were sending letters as often as you do, I'm sure I wouldn't be stuffing them with just anything all the time. They would actually be real letters, rather than just little gift packages. 🙂
But, isn't there a double-edged sword here? Since you send letters so frequently, I assume you receive them just as often. Doesn't that take away some of the charm and that special feeling? I guess if they become such a regular part of your daily routine, maybe that "magic" starts to fade a bit.
So, I exchange letters with a few people, but none of them actually live in the States. We stay in touch regularly via email, so there isn't much of a need to send actual physical mail too often.
I guess we've just gotten used to sending things during special occasions—birthdays, holidays, and stuff like that. But nobody seems able to just send a simple letter; it’s always some big package filled with chocolate and all sorts of random junk... Which means sending a single "letter" ends up costing me about $100. 😬
It’s probably better to take it slow like this, just so I don't go broke. 😁
I'm not a fan. It all feels a bit too fast-paced for me. I find using my phone or Skype more practical in those situations.
Email is my main way of staying in touch; it just fits my rhythm better. That said, I still send actual physical letters a few times a year. There’s something really special about sending and receiving mail. It's a great feeling. 🙂
To be honest, I think letters have a unique charm because we live in a world where, aside from signing our names, we rarely ever pick up a pen to write anything down. It's a little sad, but it's the truth.
Since I’m partially responsible for this thread being shut down (honestly, I just snapped because my name kept getting brought up for no reason), I wanted to apologize for my outburst. This is my second ban in six years on this forum. So, yeah—it won't happen again.
Using fake images isn't really enough of a reason to close a thread, considering only two people have posted them since this was started. I guess it's up to the mods to decide how to proceed. As for the arguing, there's bickering on every single thread—if you look at other topics compared to this one, there hasn't actually been that much back-and-forth here.
Anyway, that's all from me. My apologies to everyone once more. 😘
